***** Brother, I feel men and women are both equal. The reason being we both face difficulties and battles in many ways. For instance, going for jihad. Men are put through this difficult task, sacrificing their lives for Allah. Whilst women, who that go through pregnancy and give birth, though not seen as similar to jihad would be as difficult. Men can't do certain actions and women can't also. This doesn't mean we aren't equal.

Perhaps I should repeat myself: We Are Equal, But NOT The Same. Allah created us different, in different situations, with different strengths and weaknesses, with different abilities, different responsibilities, different rights, different challenges..but in the sight of Allah we are all equal. Islam is just, it is humans who oppress.

male and female are far apart physically & mentally..Allah only choose Male prophets as leader and example of human beings..female are also praised by their effort to support men in all situation..that is why HAWA@eve (female) was created from ADAM (male)..Allah knows BEST..let just accept the Holy Quran words by words..if you don't know the meaning, learn it from someone who understands it..

So many are missing the point. Men and women are equal in their accountability and their status (depending on deen) in the eyes of Allah SWT, but he did not create us the same. There are things were each gender is inherently better at. A woman is more suited to raise a child in most cases. A man is more suited to build a house in most cases. A woman is more suited to keep a household proper in most cases. A man is more suited to work every day in order to earn his family's keep IN MOST CASES.
@rockerdax
@rockerdax 9 жыл бұрын
Eric Saïd Benchhiba But if it is in most cases and not in all cases, don't these gender roles defeat their purpose? If there are couples where the man is best with children and the woman is superior with building, should they not go outside of societal expectations? What is the benefit of a woman or a man to "know their role" ?
@BloodhoundFitness
@BloodhoundFitness 9 жыл бұрын
rockerdax Then yeah sure, but at the end of the day, it is the man who is supposed to be the provider and protector. He should always be one or the other or both. I mean if a man can't provide or protect, what good is he?
@Sr68720
@Sr68720 9 жыл бұрын
rockerdax The thing is was eric said, the default position in most cases, and then any problems with that, sort themselves out in a marriage between the man and women discussing. so if a women wants to be the main earner and man stay at home that's fine as they both agree on it if they love and respect each other.

people need to understand the difference between religion and culture, and also to actually do some independant research of Islam, not to go looking for answers in the media, because we all know the media is infamous for spreading lies. A beautiful religion is getting tarnished by extremeists and the western world. If this was 100 years ago, the modesty Islam promotes wouldn't have batted an eyelid in the West. Why do you blame us for not changing our values and becoming a follower of 'society' like you. Society is a product of the fickleness of human beings; materialism, racism, hypocrisy, oppression, forcing us to bend our values and beliefs to those of the majority - where is the democracy here? before you try and poke holes in Islam, please look towards the corruption in the west, the corruption i'm assuming you've all agreed to live with?

It is different today though. The world is much more advanced than it was 2000 years ago and the amount of knowledge that we've picked up even in the past few hundred years is immense. Do not take this video the wrong way. Women weren't 'only' meant to raise men. That's the wrong ideology. Khadijah (ra) ran her own business and saved the small population of Muslims in her time from many financial situations in which they would struggle in because of the boycott the Quraish placed. Aishah (ra) is one of the best Islamic scholars yet she had no children at all! Sumaya was the first martyr of Islam! Women won't be following the west if they ask for an education that some misogynistic societies in the middle east have denied them. You cannot produce a good generation without the education of their mothers. Either way, education is important. Being slaves to Allah does not mean cutting all our lifes ambitions and surrendering to a man. It could mean a variety of things. Educating your self, fisabillah, to save lives in hospitals! To develop cures in labs! To defend the oppressed in courts! To teach an entire generation in schools! That doesn't mean that women should not be married. It means to balance your life out.

The way i look at it:The two enjoyments of this world are children and money. The woman has a larger share in the child part and the man has more in the money. A man cannot give birth or have the same connection that a mother has to her kids and his foot isnt analagous as a paradise for the kids. A man is made to be strong and has time and the body to work any job with enough time and no maternity distruptions or anything like that. At the end of the day however, that doesnt mean a man cant replace a mother, or a woman cant replace a man at work, it just means were biologically made to enjoy these respective things more. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION THO.

+Nila No. Everybody has his role in this world. That is why since from physical appearance you are different from Men. If God wanted everyone equal or the same then why not create all Men or all Women?. I think the moral to grab is, you are woman or a man to be played this role in this world but at the end its all equal. And thats why women are respected 3x better than men in Islam. The Prophet SAW mentioned "Your Mom" 3x then he mentioned "Your Dad". That says it all. Hope you understand.

Anonymous no actually not at all. You didn't explain anything. Just because women and men are not the same does not mean one is above the other. You basically agreed that women should play their role and that their worth lies in the sons they give birth to. And Yeah I know about that a mother is to be loved 3 times more than a dad. In my opinion that only applies to good mothers. When a mother is evil (cause she is still human and can be evil) and the dad is good, in my opinion the dad is to be respected and loved much more.

@@naziatabassum7105 From what I'm understanding, you're talking about when a husband and wife pray together? If the wife is behind, and prostrates in front of the husband, it's just because the husband is leading the prayer. We cannot prostrate (as worship)to anyone except Allah, and to do so is forbidden. Only Allah is the true master and we are all his servants. Now, with my understanding of marriage, it is a partnership. So, husband isn't better or master of wife or vice-versa, but are life partners that live in mutual love and respect towards each other. Of course, wife and husband have their respective rights but still equal but with different strengths and weaknesses. To see it as a master and slave relationship is pretty oppressive to me, since one is *better* than the other, when that's not true. And again with praying, the wife would be prostrating to God, not to her husband, and it isn't OK to say husband or wife is better than the other, nor is it OK to worship the other. Hope this helps 😊

lachusity yes we have equal right, but they are according to our capacities. WE ARE EQUAL BUT NOT THE SAME. what we can do, men cannot. and we need to appreciate our feminism rather than trying to be manly. or trying to do anything a man does. that's utter non-sense. we don't see men trying to give birth. if we deny nature and biology, the society would not function appropriately. but brains have badly been washed in the western society which is absolutely a male-dominant society. women do not realize this. I really want you to read a book called "Women's Ideal Liberation - Islam versus Western Understanding" By Rukaiyah Laureh hill. She is a convert to Islam. and this book is really a good read. It is an eye-opener. Order it, if you can.

Urwa Shahid No thank you, I dont want to read any more books of a single perspective. I prefer realtime communication where I can ask questions. Muslim women dont have the same rights as muslim men, dont you agree? Your argumentation is not logical. Forbidding sthg by law is different than being unable to do it physically. Men dont give birth because they are forbidden to do so, they dont give birth because their body is unable. Everybody is allowed to give birth both men and women, but only one gender can do it.

lachusity exactly. we are created differently by God and our rights are according to what is best for our unique nature. yes in Islam, women definitely have more right than men in my opinion. but most people think they are equal. You must read this book. if you are not a reader than watch a video on youtube called "Did Muhammad Believe in Women's Rights? by Dalia Mogahed". It concisely gives Islam's perspective on the matter, if you would like to know. Peace.

@N A who said raising daughters is better than raising sons? No one in Islam mentioned that. Instead it is is said that kids are blessing of allah. And supiriortiy and high degree are two different things stupid. Secondly, in Quran it is mentioned men not son no daughter no husband. Son is not on higher degree upon father as well and so is daughter and as you said husband is on higher degree so the higher degree in a family is of men. Lastly, in case of parents it's not about superiority it's about respect. Prophet Joseph were on higher degree than his own family even higher degree upon prophet yaqoob(his father)🙃
@unexpectedscaryfun8305

@N A when you talk about rights you shouldn't talk about superiority at the first place. Both are far away in meaning. There is no such hadith. If that hadith is true than that means Donald Trump will go to heaven bcz he only have one daughter and he is raising her proudly. This hadith doesn't fit in Islamic society so it's fake. Bcz in day of judgement everyone will be responsible of his deeds not on his sons or daughters😑😑. If a person have killed 100 persons but raised his daughters too proudly and wisely will he receive paradise? This isn't justice at all. If I find this hadith in section of sahi hadith I will leave islam. Bcz Allah is savior of justice. And what kind of justice is this for others who didn't got the blessing of daughters? Where is equality in god's eyes?

tahir sulleman Then explain these verses to me: Quran (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176). In Islam, sexism is mathematically established. Quran (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women." Muslim apologists offer creative explanations to explain why Allah felt that a man's testimony in court should be valued twice as highly as a woman's, but studies consistently show that women are actually less likely to tell lies than men, meaning that they make more reliable witnesses. Quran (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]" www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/women-worth-less.aspx These are just a few of the many inequalities in the quran.

@@dextrician5932 woman get only half of inheritance because of the role of the husband in Islam. Husband must provide for the family and is responsible for his wife's and children's food, clothing, and shelter. And he has to pay dowry (in any form, doesn't have to be money) to his wife's family, which prevents him from using his wife for financial gain. All of these qualities are not an obligation upon the woman, but a choice. So, a brother, unlike his sister, must provide for her (if there's no father or husband) and his family 😊

@@dextrician5932 also, with the "2 female witnesses for 1 male witness", this was at a time when women didn't know much about business contracts or courts, etc. So, it would be easier for them to forget (from pregnancy pain or delivery or others etc). Now, scholars say that if the woman is reliable and knows and understands about the subject, than her testimony is equal to that of a man. And if that man isn't reliable and doesn't know and understand the subject, than his testimony might not be very trusted.

Definition of Feminism: The advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. You seem to have missed the point. Men tend to be taller and physically stronger. No one's disputing this and it's certainly nothing to do with feminism. With effort and training, a woman can become considerably stronger but unfortunately, often circumstances, laziness... reliance on a man keeps her weak. On another note, a woman's body is biologically made to give birth. This is HER strength. I know which one I prefer. Using the MIND advances human beings - not physical power. Over the past couple of centuries we've invented tools and machinery that increasingly replaces what would otherwise require animals and human strength.

So, those who emigrated, and were expelled from their homes, and were tortured in My way, and fought, and were killed, I shall certainly write off their evil deeds, and shall certainly admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow, as a reward from Allah. The Genders are equally important, but we are not equal. Our civilization would not exist if we were. We needed women to give birth to civilization and then we needed men to create civilization, equally important… but two very different unequal functions. It is as simple as that. Women were made to REproduce… not to produce. Women depended on men to create civilization while men depended on women to give birth to the male producers (and female reproducers) … a fair and amazing balance.

You can try to spin it that she learns that the female she bore is important because she can bear more children for Islam, but that just turns women in to glorified baby factories. When they could be so much more, and lost to the world because of ignorant ideaologies. I have a professor who has done amazing things in my field, and if she had succumbed to this ridiculous notion, I would not have had such an amazing example to learn from.

Soleil Magica Let me make it clear:This does not mean that the only thing a woman should do is stay at home and raise her children it means that that's what women excel at.A man cannot raise a child as well as a woman can same for the fact that women cannot do physical works as well as men. Now I'll reply to your question. At the prophets time there wasn't much activities or jobs women could do,it was kind of a nomadic period.Now we're culturally advanced(religion is not the problem it's culture),there are many opportunities for women to work and they can if they want to and they do.There are more women in the doc/nurse occupation than men that's a fact.If a woman requires a female doc she'll get a female doc but in case of giving birth,do you think a woman will care much about who delivers the baby?(I'm not sure).Also if they do,there will always be a female nurses in the room that's compulsory. If a woman doesn't want to be a housewife or marry,no one should stop her.Keyword:should.I'm saying this bcoz there are many cases where woman are not allowed to work,not only in the Arab culture.My mom chose to be housewife coz we're 8 kids so she had to sacrifice something for us and she doesn't regret like any other mother.My mother is also like the bank account of the house.She takes cares of the money my siblings make to make sure they use it wisely.Even when she used to work she did the same.That's the mothers wisdom.My sister,another example,was proposed to 2 times and she rejected both the times bcoz she wants to finish her uni then work then she'll think about it.My parents are okay with this(and we're devote Muslims).These are the life's of many woman now.No one is stopping them from doing what they want to do.What if a man loses his job and his wife is still working?Who will provide for the family?The wife of course.

You are so beautiful and you do not even KNOW IT, and that makes you so much more amazing. Fatima, may Allah bless you, just trust in him and you will be OK. Both genders are different, but equal!
@24celestemurphy

The fundamental difference between men and women is women's ability to carry and deliver children, although man is needed to create the child. Women's role in child bearing is superior, women's bodies are created with child bearing as it's main purpose eg why a woman has periods, why a woman has breasts, why a woman has a vagina, why a woman will eventually cease having periods, why women have higher estrogen levels, why there is no doubt as to who a child's mother is although there can be doubt as to who a father was. So in short women's main role scientifically, culturally, historically ect is as a mother. Males roles are different there bodies and brains have been created as such, male levels of testosterone make males more prone to dominance, aggression and physical strength, so fundamental roles for men have always been security givers and providers of life necessities eg food and shelter. God has created us differently and for different purposes, but both men and women in unity are needed and are equally as important in the creation and continuation of life. Males tend to think more logically due to the way they have been created they tend to be more decisive. Females tend to be more emotionally superior and tend to be more multi dimensional and sympathetic. All traits are needed to produce a well balanced society, God is an example of this God gives both judgement and forgiveness, heaven and hell, day and night, life and death ect the vast contradictions are needed in order for the balance to work, without them this world would be illogical, irrational and simply stop existing. So yes men and women are equal but are different and have different roles to play, the video says women must play there role, this is true, women must not try or be forced to take on the roles of men this will lead to only negative effects, but men must also realise that because they may have been made with more physical strength does not mean they are superior to women, a lot of men see women's roles as inferior to there's or that a woman's purpose or role is servitude this is not the case and will also only lead to negative effects. I man and a woman come together in unity to create a family, this is Gods will, to raise there family in accordance to Gods messages and to work together in doing so as an equal partnership. I a woman and I am not Muslim and catholic, the reason why I am a catholic and do not accept the teaching of Mohammed is because Jesus said that when a man and woman unite they unite in the eyes of God and become one, Mohammed's contradicts this teaching by allowing males to have more than one wife and divorce is allowed under Islamic law. I understand there are logical reasons for these teachings but they are still contradictions to what Jesus' message and as Jesus even to Muslims was a prophet and was relaying Gods message through his words, Muslims should consider that Mohammed's contradictory teachings may show a flaw in Mohammed's teachings as a whole.

24celestemurphy why do you choose certain teachings of Jesus (A.S.) and ignore others? Did not He not tell you about the last messenger of God and asked you to follow? So following Muhammad (saw) is following Jesus (a.s) and following Muhammad (pbuh) teachings are following Jesus (a.s) teachings. There are things mankind can never and will never know or understand because that's the will of the God we both worship. Why some things are illegalized after others. i love your commrnt btw, Alhamdulillah we're both servants of God. :)

Ok but what about a women that cannot bear children? Would she be regarded as a man the same then? Or if she raises a child like an adopted child would be regarded as a mother? In this day and age men and women both work and women can make more money than the men. If she cannot have children then is her worth less?
@gkagara
@gkagara 8 жыл бұрын
nope, she's still a woman regardless, if woman is barren then his husband should be given choice to married again, if he choose to have natural children, however his first wive is still legally married with him. all depend of circumstances I guess, but today there is many treatment to that. it's for the greater good if woman stay at home and manage their children if the husband can provide whole family, however if husband incapable you may ask permission to your husband to work. I'm a convert and still new to this concept at least that what I heard from my friend.
@o2lawesomeness625

Congrats on converting! I would say that some of your information seems to be culture. I don't believe that you have to ask your husband for permission to work. Also in this day and age no way in hell would I ask a man for permission to work. Women are not just made to have children and stay home and take care of the family, that is both of the parents jobs after all they both did make the children together. Children need their mom and dad. Just don't get culture mixed up with the religion. Many cultures are backwards and give a bad name to Islam simply because Islam is the main religion practiced in that culture. It is quite unfortunate.

Basically what you are saying is for women to 'only' raise children(Men as you said), but i disagree they have a life too.. Men & women both are required for a child birth(but women mostly), there have been many examples of men being single & excellent or worst fathers same in the case of mothers. Everybody is equal regardless of gender.

the only thing i disagree about in this video is about fighting for the rights of women... u dont have to be following a non-muslim to fight for women's right. because unfortunately, it's true that that in some muslim societies women are oppressed, and they need a voice. Just imagine, if when men try to imitate the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in his actions, they do so by helping their wives with the housework, doing laundry, sweeping floors, as he (SAW) did, rather than just having a beard, and wearing arabic garments and thinking this is it, i'm following the prophet (SAW)'s way.

Great Message, Ma Sha Allah. The meaning behind the message seems to be misunderstood a bit. A little background knowledge about Islam and our faith, along with proper understanding of the differences between man and woman that make their roles uncomparable ( physical, social, emotional, psychological ) would definitely unite many of these commenters and reduce the need for all of the argumentative discussions. The only thing promised to us all in this life, is death, so we all have commonality in that aspect! Peace!

Not sure the speaker was making the point you just stated, you slightly misunderstood him (its true he said raising kids but thats got plenty of logical and scientific explanations) but what i understood from what he said is that Muslim women shouldn't concern themselves with what western civilizations say a free "equal" women does and live their life the way they want as along as they follow Allah's command (so they can live, work and enjoy their lives Islam doesn't prohibit that).

Let's bring the truth from Islam. These are the things Muslim women should not do: - She should avoid standing on the balcony. - She should conceal herself while welcoming men at the door. - She should not go out after she has used perfume. - She should wear her dresses long and not imitate unbelieving women. - She should not speak in a loud voice. - She should not walk in the middle of the road. - She should not mingle with men or shake hands with them. These are the things Muslim women should do: - Speak softly and honorably when you are walking. - Walk by the side of the road, and keep away from the middle. - Beware of standing by the door to welcome guests. - Do not go out of your home frequently for unnecessary things. - Do not lower your veil outside your house under any circumstances whatever. - When you stand in the balcony, take care what you wear. - Beware of shaking hands with strange men. Don't travel without a guardian relative. These two actions are abominations. - Watch not to waste your time uselessly; so praise [God] and ask for His pardon frequently in an inaudible voice. - Avoid turning around and always look down. - You are weak and in need of your Lord's mercy; so raise your hands up to Him constantly asking for His pardon for your guilt, and for health for your good deeds.

The Qur'an: Qur'an (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176). In Islam, sexism is mathematically established. Qur'an (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women." Muslim apologists offer creative explanations to explain why Allah felt that a man's testimony in court should be valued twice as highly as a woman's, but studies consistently show that women are actually less likely to tell lies than men, meaning that they would make more reliable witnesses. Qur'an (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]" Qur'an (5:6) - "And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it" Men are to rub dirt on their hands if there is no water to purify them following casual contact with a woman (such as shaking hands). Qur'an (24:31) - Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye. (To be fair, men are told to do the same thing in the prior verse). Qur'an (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." A man has dominion over his wives' bodies as he does his land. This verse is overtly sexual. There is some dispute as to whether it is referring to the practice of anal intercourse, which it has been used historically to justify. If this is what Muhammad meant, however, then it would appear to contradict what he said in Muslim (8:3365). Qur'an (4:3) - (Wife-to-husband ratio) "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four" Inequality by numbers. Qur'an (53:27) - "Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names." Angels are sublime beings, and would therefore be male. Qur'an (4:24) and Qur'an (33:50) - A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage. Note that the verse distinguishes wives from captives (those whom they right hand possesses).

From the Hadith: Bukhari (6:301) - "[Muhammad] said, 'Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her intelligence.'" Bukhari (6:301) - continued - "[Muhammad said] 'Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?' The women replied in the affirmative. He said, 'This is the deficiency in her religion.'" Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles. Bukhari (2:28) - Women comprise the majority of Hell's occupants. This is important because the only women in heaven ever mentioned by Muhammad are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men. (A weak Hadith, Kanz al-`ummal, 22:10, even suggests that 99% of women go to Hell). Bukhari (62:81) - "The Prophet said: "'The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women's) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'" In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs. Bukhari (62:58) - A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he "donates" her on the spot to another man. Muslim (4:1039) - "A'isha said [to Muhammad]: 'You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'" These are the words of Muhammad's favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam. Abu Dawud (2:704) - "...the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: When one of you prays without a sutrah, a dog, an ass, a pig, a Jew, a Magian, and a woman cut off his prayer, but it will suffice if they pass in front of him at a distance of over a stone's throw." Abu Dawud (2155) - Women are compared to slaves and camels with regard to the "evil" in them. Ishaq 593 - "As for Ali, he said, 'Women are plentiful, and you can easily change one for another.'" Ali was raised as a son by Muhammad. He was also the 4th caliph. This comment was made in Muhammad's presence without a word of rebuke from him. Ishaq 593 - "From the captives of Hunayn, Allah's Messenger gave [his son-in-law] Ali a slave girl called Baytab and he gave [future Caliph] Uthman a slave girl called Zaynab and [future Caliph] Umar another." - Even in this world, Muhammad treated women like party favors, handing out slave girls to his cronies for sex. Al-Tirmidhi 3272 - "When Allah's Messenger was asked which woman was best he replied, 'The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves'." Tabari VIII:117 - The fate of more captured farm wives, whom the Muslims distributed amongst themselves as sex slaves: "Dihyah had asked the Messenger for Safiyah when the Prophet chose her for himself... the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims." Tabari IX:137 - "Allah granted Rayhana of the Qurayza to Muhammad as booty." Ishaq 969 - "Men were to lay injunctions on women lightly, for they were prisoners of men and had no control over their persons." - This same text also justifies beating women for flirting. Tabari Vol 9, Number 1754 - "Treat women well, for they are [like] domestic animals with you and do not possess anything for themselves." From Muhammad's 'Farewell Sermon'.

From the Hadith: Bukhari (72:715) - A woman came to Muhammad and begged her to stop her husband from beating her. Her skin was bruised so badly that she it is described as being "greener" than the green veil she was wearing. Muhammad did not admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires. Bukhari (72:715) - "Aisha said, 'I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women'" This is Muhammad's own wife complaining of the abuse that the women of her religions suffer relative to other women. Muslim (4:2127) - Muhammad struck his favorite wife, Aisha, in the chest one evening when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, "He struck me on the chest which caused me pain." Muslim (9:3506) - Muhammad's father-in-laws (Abu Bakr and Umar) amused him by slapping his wives (Aisha and Hafsa) for annoying him. According to the Hadith, the prophet of Islam laughed upon hearing this. Abu Dawud (2141) - "Iyas bin ‘Abd Allah bin Abi Dhubab reported the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not beat Allah’s handmaidens, but when ‘Umar came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: Women have become emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them." At first, Muhammad forbade men from beating their wives, but he rescinded this once it was reported that women were becoming emboldened toward their husbands. Beatings are sometimes necessary to keep women in their place. Abu Dawud (2142) - "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife." Abu Dawud (2126) - "A man from the Ansar called Basrah said: 'I married a virgin woman in her veil. When I entered upon her, I found her pregnant. (I mentioned this to the Prophet).' The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: 'She will get the dower, for you made her vagina lawful for you. The child will be your slave. When she has begotten (a child), flog her'" A Muslim man thinks his is getting a virgin, then finds out she is pregnant. Muhammad tells him to treat the woman as a sex slave and then flog her after she has delivered the child. Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 969 - Requires that a married woman be "put in a separate room and beaten lightly" if she "act in a sexual manner toward others." According to the Hadith, this can be for an offense as petty as merely being alone with a man to whom she is not related. Kash-shaf (the revealer) of al-Zamkhshari (Vol. 1, p. 525) - [Muhammad said] "Hang up your scourge where your wife can see it"

The Muslim Scientist Are they false ? Is it not from the Quran ? Are you ok for a muslim woman to choose the husband she want ? Are you ok for her to speak to male people and shake their hands ? Are you ok for her to argue with a muslim man about any kind of subject ? Are you ok for her (muslim) to go to public swiming pool ? Are you ok to have advise or Quran teaching from a woman ? A friend of mine (girl) was muslim (was living in Turkey) in an arranged marriage. She wasn't happy (no love, only control) and she left (escape) the guy and moved to UK and became a Christian. Now, her family "hate" her, she can't go back to see anyone. The other day she went to talk to some muslim men about the Bible and one of the guy slapped her. Another muslim friend (girl) think she gonna go to hell because she don't pray everyday and don't cover her head. So i'm trying slowly to speak about the Bible and Jesus to remove this dirty teaching from the satan's book, the Quran. Another friend (girl but not muslim), her job is Embalming bodies. She is working with her son. One day some muslim people needed her service to embalm a body (not usual from muslims). But she wasn't allowed to do it, only her son. The reason ? She was 'impur" and "dirty". Sick people ! Another friend (still a girl) is a "car driving instructor". When any muslim girls pass a driving test with man instructor, my friend have to be in the back seat because the muslim girl can't be alone with the man. Ridiculous ! And what are the Niqab for ? Hide the bruises ?
