Hi Darcy, yes we do need to watch what we say as we will give an accounting of every idle word. It makes me shudder what my playback will be like, especially my thoughts. We should see to build each other up and not tear down. There will always be disagreements but there’s no need to be sinful about it. Children are a gift and we are commanded to bring them up in the training and fear (admonition) of the Lord. You covered lots of ground in this video! Russ

@@TheRussRyde hey Russ! It is a little fearful thinking of what our paybacks will be. Think about how many instances over our years that we can’t even remember our actions, let alone our words and very thoughts. I’m so thankful for His mercy though and the washing away of our sins. Our thoughts are definitely harder to purify but I think the intents of our hearts are what matters, I hope at least. ❤️

This is very true. I still remember things my mom told me growing up. Words hurt and stay with you even as an adult even though you know they’re not true.
