So here's a summary what she's trying to explain: so the india name came to be used since our country india was known as bhartwaraha and jambudwipa and was called hindustan but when in 19th century the British came to India the synonymously used india because of the language difference the first river sindhu become hindu in old Persian and the word hi du was pronounced an-the and written inde in french over the period of time in english it came to be used as "india" and when British came the hindustan name changed into india ❤it took me 30 min to write pls like!! And tysm ma'am and also hindustan is not the official name of india it's commonly used by indians in conversations!

It is the persians, who called Sindhu, as Hindu. Bcoz, they use to pronounce, स as ह. Now, about INDIA It is the short form of the word '. INDUSTRIA '. We know, that, the Portugese were the first, to find the sea way to Bharat, from Europe. (Just think, why would they needed to find ?) They came here for trade, followed by other europian countries. They wanted to set up the import export ' INDUSTRY ' here, which they did. In Portugese, the word industria means, industrial in english. This word, slowly got changed to India. Its not Aryavrat (आर्याव्रत), it is Aryavart(आर्यावर्त).और आर्योने जिस प्रांतपर अपने रहनेका इंतजाम किया उस प्रांतको (आवर्त) आर्यावर्त कहा‌ गया । ये नाम नही है, संबोधन है एक पैमानेपर । वैसे आवर्त का अर्थ है, नियमित तौरपर घटनेवाली घटना माने जिस धरतीपर आगे बढनेपर बारबार आर्य समूह के रिहायशी इलाके नजर आते हो वह क्षेत्र।
