8:07 FYI majority of resellers 15-20 years ago always left either hand written notes to do that or they left business cards with that printed on the back have no idea what that stopped (as i have been a buyer as long as i have been a reseller on eBay, 26 years) eBay lost a lot of those GOOD resellers that went that extra mile to do that back then it was not all about the money it was more for the love of reselling

If you're a small seller which is majority of us, then 100% focus on customer service. This approach kept me self-employed since 2004 with exeption of one year. I don't want to be a large seller or company and know what I need to do to keep myself going.

thing is even if you do all that extra stuff eBay is still going to stuff your listing with your competitions ads which are cheaper, might have a 100% rating and so and so on only thing i see that will change anything is eBay stops promoting competition within a listing keep advertising others listings where it should stay IN SEARCH

I put vintage thank you cards or a cards of some sort I have I box taller then me full of them... Damn family hoarders

For me, if server is good. I ask the person If I can talk to their boss/manager. Praise in front of them !! Building a bridges. It is a small world. Worse thing I made their day. I also for over 3 year send an invoice with a thank you typed out in it and write " Enjoy your day!" with each order. very low returns on cloths.

I like to school those eBay print outers lol I pull out my Sold listings if it's not on the same ball as there print out, I show them the Truth lol

but then they come back at you and say well it was only worth that to that buyer and it might be worth more to another buyer that is the whole thing about comps there not 100% there is always a buyer out there wiling to pay more then the last (or highest)

I had a refund request on a Waterford replacement decanter stopper. He claimed it had chips which it did not. He tried to convince me to refund him in full which means he doesn't have to ship the item back. I accepted the return and they are giving him until Nov 21st to ship it back. I feel he's trying to use the replacement scam We shall see. Going forward, I won't be selling anything stating replacement.
