Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this story...The Tale of the Dark Dragon.
Keith Saunders, 16, was in a bad car accident which left his leg in a metal brace. He is rather shy and insecure and feels that his life is severely limited due to his bad leg. Above all, the girl he has a crush on doesn't even take him seriously. He decides to visit a magician who gives him a magic potion to make him confident and popular--everything he wants to be. What the magician fails to tell him, however, is that there is a serious price to pay for desiring only the good things in life--and Keith must first fight the dark dragon within himself.
