Sir! please a video on how to improvise when especially when ONE STICK gets broken and no replacement, If your pedale kick gets bad in middle of gig or if the snare gets burst in middle of gig . How to improvise and keep the music stable to a point, because these are situations no one talks about and replacements some times aren't nearby.

I think the skills to manage this come with experience similar to adapting to when the singer goes off time

Middle intermediate I'm learning rudiments now and how to apply them to grooves. But flexibility is becoming much better thanks for those videos about flex. Timing . Speed. Kick. Grip. I used to play without those knowledge since 5 yrs ago but as of last year I started making use of your vids and there's a change ❤❤❤

I must say IMO that the definition for embellishments is quite accurate👌👌. My personal understanding of embellishments is this: As musicians, we know that within a song we have groove positions, fill positions and solos... anything played within the groove position that doesn't alter the groove massively is an embellishment. Reason why I call them " unnecessary little additions" I must end by saying that this video has been very edifying to me🙏🙏🙏and given that I'm getting a little more comfortable with different time signatures, i would say I'm a middle intermediate drummer 😅

Great explanation bro. Thank you🙏🏾 I noticed how you didn't even list any pointers or markers of advanced drummers😅 These things are not easy to tell, but you have given a good guide, sir!

Hello sir.. please what kind or type of stick will u advice for a good makosa playing??
@boyaers2 ай бұрын
Aww brother. Every stick convenient in your hand can play any genre of music. The go to stick for almost every drummer is the 5a sticks.
@sabiboy25912 ай бұрын
@@boyaers alright thanks alot Can u give me an example of 5A sticks?
@TochSticksMusic2 ай бұрын
Yeah.. Just as @@boyaers already said I good 5A or 5B drumstick will suffice. Pending on your choice of weight of Sticks. 5B drumsticks are quite heavier than 5A drumsticks. Just as 2B drumsticks are heavier than 5B drumsticks.

I have a question? Does playing 32rd notes comfortably implies being advanced or still intermediate?
@TochSticksMusic2 ай бұрын
Not really. There isn't a singular criteria that can mean you're an advanced player. Lots of intermediate drummers can play 32nd notes. It also depends on the tempo at which you're playing the 32nd notes.
