@@kat118 Because the don't side will be very frizzy and will damage your hair. It will have more knots and prone to breakage when detangling the hair. Also it is hard to manage. Idk if you can get the look after doing the things you need to do for hair.

I love both sides but I also know that the "don't" side will look like a frizzy mess on day 2. I try to start with the "do" side on day 1 and make it to day 5-6 before the frizzy mess hits... The operative word in that sentence is "try"... It doesn't always happen 😕

I have very heavy, very coarse, wavy-curly hair (2c-3a). Once I rinse out my conditioner, I absolutely cannot pull my curls in any way or else they stretch out too much and frizz up. I know "just scrunching" in product is supposed to be "bad" now, but it's literally the only thing that works for me. I can't use praying hands, raking, or finger coiling. Instead I kind of pat the product all over my head, and scrunch away. Do's and don'ts of curly hair are helpful, don't get me wrong, but I really think it's all about finding what works best for YOU. If you're trying a method that is supposed to be a "do" and it's not working or you don't like the result, do it how you think looks best! As long as you're taking care of your hair's health, you do you boo boo!
