I want to see a compilation of a bunch of youtube archers doing the same thing. Putting there fitness and skill to the test at the same time :)

By far my favorite KZbinr when it comes to hunting. I’m going to set that trail up here in Kalispell Montana. Good work.

Cool video. That 40# pack added a lot. I’m thinking there are very few that could pull this off. Quite the challenge.👍👍

Doing this! Every morning I head to my local range and I always have a mug of coffee or energy drink with me while I shoot. I had someone comment why I’m drinking coffee and increasing my heart rate when I should be relaxed while shooting. I realized that one, I enjoy coffee and caffeine. And two, the increased heart rate really helps me settle into my shot especially when out on the field, hunting. Doing a workout like this will definitely bump it up a huge notch in my training. Mahalos you guys! 🤙🏽

This is the most realistic drill you can do. I had to sprint a 100 yards and make a clean shot threw trees for a turkey kill in the spring I'm glad I was prepared for the moment. This is awesome 👍

Dan, This was a great video. One video I would like to see is the results of your shooting with no stabilizers and with stabilizers. Stress test and 3D round and decide if the extra weight is worth it or if it doesn't matter as much as you think... I think it would be an excellent video. Maybe have a few guys try it.

Man I have had the idea to start something like this in Australia for a while. Over here there really isn't anwhere to practice unless you have a large private block. Looks like great fun and a good test. I'm so out of shape, it would be great to do.

I came in at 9:00 when we did it shooting at the bottom of the hill during camp. Looks like this takes a little longer shooting from the top?

What's the required pack weight? Perfect spot at the range to try this.

The 2 TAC's i've been to taught me one thing. I only have flat ground at my range. I can walk for ever on flat ground. Give me a bit of uphill/climb and i'm dying half way up..... literally have to stop for a minute.

Try using bleachers or build you a box and step up on the box then up into the back of a pickup. @robertmccullough7580

Walking lunges were huge for me. 10min walking lunge AMRAP with 40lbs in the pack felt really similar to this. I had done it multiple times and kept reminding myself they weren’t that different. Step ups are great too.

The one minute hold looks difficult for those of us with a physically heavy bow. Would definitely want my Carbon Air over the RX5. Too bad SVA is so far away.

Nice time. I’m thinking about using a four blade muzzy for elk this year. Is that any different from a 2 blade? Do I need to switch?
@Pr1mitiveHunter3 ай бұрын
Four blade is gonna give you a square hole instead of a slit. Possibly better trail especially if you get a pass through cause it’s a literal hole.
