There are moments where people who knows cultural stuff (Star Wars, comic books, etc.) Are nerdy, and then there's people who's knowledgeable in science, history, even language (i assume this is where the "boring" stereotype came from) are called nerdy. I just felt like the term is used all over the place imo. And sometimes, even "nerd" people are more fun to talk to than casual people.
