as one of the few laundry mat dads out there i do the laundry when the baby goes down to bed and my wife is home with her so this list has been extremely helpful for me especially since im in the arm and hammer club currently and im looking for something better

I've personally seen better results with tide over persil but persil is really good too. I'd get which ever one is on sale. I bought gain as well because I wanted something that smells great and cleans decently because tide/persil isn't always needed for how soiled the clothes in my household get. However I was kinda of disappointed by gain because I can barely smell anything on the clothes. I have a HE front load washer and I think the small amount of detergent that's needed to clean makes it so that clothes aren't as fragrant as they would be if you used more and using more isn't good for HE washers. I found that for HE washers it's best to just use scent boosters if you care for scent (which not everyone cares about).

I've had amazing luck with tide powder detergent. Better for the environment too as there is no plastic jug.

Straight to the point!! Love it!! I had tide & gain, smells great but did not remove STRONG odors/stains. I’m new to Ariel, and I’m not sure yet how I feel about it. I also used foca. Smells great, like baby powder/fresh scent, but not great for stain removers.

I always use Persil detergent, Lysol laundry sanitizer, Clorox 2, Tide with Oxi powder, scent beads, and Wool Dryer Balls. That's my powerful combination here. 🙌

We’ve had persil in Uk for years. I use persil bio and I only ever use a tablespoon. We don’t have tide but I’m told that Daz here is the same and I find that fades my clothes.

I have allergies and COPD so cannot use any detergent with perfume. Most detergents ARE LOADED with perfume, and some make me nauseus. I use Tide Free & Clear and All unscented.

Arm and hammer is made by the same company as xtra but for some reason arm and hammer works better on my clothes.

@@ToniaTutorials I used to use it and it worked fine so then I moved on to arm and hammer and tide they worked better of course but Xtra was on sale so I went ahead and bought it and used it on bedding and I was honestly disappointed this go round. IDK if they changed the formula but it didn't clean the bedding well and it didn't even leave any scent. Gain on the other hand is too much I bought two bottles and can't wait to finish them our clothes smell so much like gain now it's almost sickening, lesson learned.

Crud.. Yesterday i was struggling to pick between tide with downy or tide clean and gentle at the market. I chose tide with downy and i guess i chose the less effective one. Idk, i didn't see any reviews before buying it😢

Tide is really good too. However, Persil stripped my clothes of odor and stains like no other,

Percil pro clean discs are better than tide pods

I tested multiple products using strips of fabric and food products. I am not sharing opinions in this review, I am sharing what removed the stains the best. Hope that helps.

Tide is great. Try Persil once when you have a chance. A tiny bit goes a long way. 🤍
