Unfortunately most prophets are not trained by anyone. They must rely on God and stay still. You will be rejected and you must not become bitter. You can pray at any time all through the day. Practice his presence all day even when your doing things talk to God.

That’s so true I’m just emerging in my prophetic anointing and God has truly blessed me and has brought help from the most unexpected ways. The Holy Ghost is my trainer but yes do ask for help in trying times. I’ve experienced rejection in my church and like I said it not easy BUT GOD is your resource fir all things. And yes we must not get angry, we must love ❤️ and overcome rejection with love. The boldness and brashness required to be effective as a prophet tend to lend themselves to harshness and lack of compassion. Humility is very important, but to a certain degree. Too much and the prophet is almost useless.

@@edwardlongfellow5819 not just prophets Ed all who receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus said You shall receive of this same anointing and greater works than these you shall do. When God looks at us He doesn’t see our faults, failings, and sinful tendencies. Because of the blood of Jesus He sees the perfection of His son. Only Jesus sees us as we truly are…a work in progress. This anointing first changes our very nature to give us what Adam lost, the likeness of God. Then bit by bit, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little we are remade to be like Jesus. As long as we continue to seek righteousness and strive for faith we will become perfect as He is perfect. All of the provisions made for Jesus are made for us as well. As a child of God in the will of God I sit in the palm of His hand and He said Who can snatch me them from me. Because I’ve drawn near to Him His wing of protection is over. Angels go before me to protect my way, and angels have been given charge to bare up my weight. I am a defended city with a wall fire and a hedge of thorns. They can’t even raise their voice against me unless God allows it. What He allows or causes is to teach and strengthen us.

Akiana kramerick that’s it. Go look. I stared at His huge nose and He feigned offense and said I am Jewish you know. Sometimes He says the funniest stuff. Like I close my eyes and I see his face right. So I get used to it and one day I start praying and I’m like Jesus where are you? I’m right here. Where I don’t see…then He blinked and I realize I’m looking at an eye 5 feet across. I jumped and kinda squealed in surprise and He says Gotcha! Gotta love the dude He so awesome

Real prophets do not veer from the office of the prophet, or it’s original purpose. Neither do they seek an audience, man’s approval, or recognition. Most prophets are the least desired, because they often bring rebuke and correction. They bring “fair warning” to leaders, and people of God who have erred. They often live solitary lives because most people, even so-called people of God can’t stand correction. They prefer the soothe-sayers to tell them something good.

Mr Bodine. The first sentence of your comment got my attention. Please consider the words I share with you: The “office” of the Prophet has not changed. Similarly as the other four offices: teachers teach, pastors shepherd and evangelists go forth. The Prophet was (before Jesus came) the spokes person for God to the Nation of Israel. They anointed kings, brought correction & rebuke, warned of impending danger from the enemy, etc. What has occurred in recent times is the office of the Prophet has been reduced to a gimmicky fortune telling endeavor. God forbid. Like you I am a dreamer. I was saved many decades ago as a teen. I’ve had vision type dreams since I was very young. Dreams that came to pass. Maturation in the Lord is the most important thing. He will tell you What to do with the revelation you’ve been allowed to see, and When to do it. Often He will have you to Pray and Not Share. In the early 80’s I began to have a series of vision type dreams that had national significance. I knew it even though the visions were symbolic, the importance of them were clear. They did not manifest until 2015/16 presidential election, Russian interference and fallout. Just think who would’ve believed me if I shared that vision to anyone beside a few very close persons to me? Warning visions has been my experience. Am I a prophetess ? I consider myself as one who God shows things to. Occasionally he has shown me things & persons who are potentially harmful to me. What I really wish to stress is the spiritual danger of allowing false prophets to contaminate the point of prophesy and the office. Jesus warned of these times when false prophets would rise . Even now at my age, when I’m not sure of something I heard in my Spirit, the will answer “you know my voice”. “If it doesn’t come to pass, you’ve heard another voice”. So I have trained my spirit to hear His voice only and not be deceived by any other voice. In closing, pray always and don’t worry about titles. Obey God. An example of what a prophet ISN’T is the one that boasts that they are and they love an Audience, spouting “words of wisdom” to people in the audience. Lord, help us!!

If you're called to this foundational function, then you'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt. God will make Himself abundantly clear to you. The Body of believers around you will just confirm it. Remember that the call must come from Him, not a church leader. You must know that you know first before someone else acknowledges it. Your knowledge and the believers around you knowing will work in tandem. God talks to us and confirms His Word through those who believe as we do. Now that you know, get ready for the crucible. There will be several of those over your lifetime. Don't fight it, just surrender and let Him change you. Speak and do as He says, and exactly what He tells you to say and do, nothing more, nothing less. You'll overcome the embarrassment, rejection and fear. God exercises our spiritual muscles to make us bold and uncompromising because we have to come up against powers and principalities before the rest of the Body does. Remember that it's a lonely road. If you are truly called, God will have you walking on the ceiling when everyone else is walking on the floor. Your own brethren will think you're crazy half the time.

That's how Brother Lawrence avoided life's fears and anxieties. Look up a free pdf version of the book. Blake K Healy has AMAZING books that reveal how/when/why the enemy is operating in your thoughts/surroundings etc... to bring depression, destruction etc... I saw Blake on It's Supernatural, and went to Amazon to buy his eBook. A girl said she was healed from depression after her parents gave her one of Blakes' book, so I bought all three and have been recommending them since. It's as though Isaiah 64 is happening and becoming SO REAL in my life!! I am always, it seems, having my MIND BLOWN by these experiences!! And, a while back someone, a complete stranger I had never met, just BLURTED OUT one day when she seen me and asked, "ARE YOU A PROPHETESS?? You have the "LOOK" of a PROPHETESS"!! Now, IDK what exactly that MEANS?? I DO know, however, that she seen something, THE ANOINTING PERHAPS (?); GOD'S GLORY PERHAPS (?); I DO NOT KNOW? But, I BELIEVE this was said as CONFIRMATION. I MUST ADMIT, however, there have been times when they THRU MY MOUTH HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS, and as those things CAME TO PASS, some fall under HEAVY CONVICTION because of it; or some even have BECOME FRIGHTENED BY IT?? And, I MUST ADMIT, too, that at times, it causes me to think I AM WEIRD, or POSSIBLY CRAZY, but HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF ALWAYS FIGHTS THAT BATTLE FOR ME!! IT USE TO BOTHER ME, but NOT so much anymore. It has become such a "SPIRITUAL NORM" in my life!! IDK ABOUT YOU 🤔, but I STRUGGLE with FITTING IN with "NORMAL" people; have been completely OSTRACIZED by friends, and family. What REALLY HURTS and IS HARDEST OF ALL IS THE OSTRACIZING by my OWN FAMILY. I have EVEN BEEN TOLD, given an ULTIMATUM, by one of my children, my eldest, that either I GIVE UP MY FAITH IN JESUS, and STOP THIS; or GIVE UP HER and OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. And, SADLY, IT GRIEVES ME that SHE MEANT IT 😕. I have NOT HEARD ONE WORD from her in ALMOST A YEAR!! This JULY will be A YEAR. We USE TO TALK all the time. YES, IT IS VERY LONELY AT TIMES. But WE MUST make a CHOICE TO STAND FIRM; LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE WATER; PUTTING GOD FIRST; ABOVE ALL, TRUSTING HIM that HE IS OUR REDEEMER, RESTORER, and WE ARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST JESUS!! And, BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE PROMISED THIS IS NOT IN VAIN; EMPTY, or WITHOUT PURPOSE!!! HE WILL ACCOMPLISH ALL HE HAS PROMISED and PURPOSED IN US!! And, HE IS OUR REWARDER AS WE DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM!! SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and HE WILL ADD ALL the REST that IS NEEDED and DESIRED FOR HIS GOOD in our lives!! HE IS WORKING IT ALL TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM; AND WE HAVE BEEN CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE, AND NOT OUR OWN!! AMEN! (Romans 8:28)!!! 📖🕊️🙌🙂!!!!! SORRY SO LONG!! @@allaboutgrace2560 thank you for sharing that out . I do get your point. I suppose I am looking what's my gift in God. I am able to see demonic spirits. I used to see them strongly at one point of my life and it scared me because I was alone and didn't know whom to talk too about it. But of late I see them only when I shut my eyes and start praying. But I am learning and want to grow and connect to the body of Christ. But it's a lonely journey. I'm secluded no one gel with me. Like I am the weird one. I am okay with that. Because my lifestyle is different. I love to mingle with the children of God who understand God's words. Only problem is I have not been able to find a right church to connect. I go online and listen to sermon and trying to maintain my personal relationship with God. The last time I was in church. I notice my behaviour was changing. I didn't feel it's me anymore in a bad way. It was strange. Then I notice the anointed and the laying of hand I suppose the person is not walking right. But after I left the church I am back to myself by Gods grace. A better version of me and walking in self control and love by the grace of God.

I am isolated and alone but He comforts me and gives me dreams and words often. I am healing now from some emotional wounds. I love to study the WORD. Why should prophets embarrass people in public? I feel some prophets need to use wisdom and annalise situations, some things are very sensitive to be uttered in public. Jesus never did that nor did the prophets of the bible.

To put it extremely simply, the operation of the gift of prophecy involved words of edification, comfort, and exhortation. One in the office of the prophet functions to help the body to mature. One in the office of the prophet will also have words that edify, exhort, and comfort. However, by reason of the office, he/she has the authority to rebuke and correct those who are in error. I hope that helps bring some clarity.

If you're a prophet, you will know it. It isn't easy to accept. You also must be prepared to be lonely and hated. The peace of God will take care of you, though. The prophet is not a fortune teller but a guide post, correcting false teachings, exposing deceptions and keeping the believers on the right path. This video is a great example of things to avoid. These two here are in this for money. You cannot serve God and money both. If you're a prophet, you already know this. If you're falling for this stuff, you're very likely not called as a prophet.

Wow your right on! A true prophet does not seek fame or fortune. Actually they prefer to hide and stand up against the false doctrines being taught. Much hatred rejection and opposition leading to isolation. Jesus said we would be hated by ALL. Also in Matthew he says woe to rich blessed are the poor. The ones well spoken of are false and the ones treated with persecution are the REAL ones. People don't like correction or being exposed but the SPIRIT of prophesy knows what is truly going on. 💥🌟🙏

Just a question. Why should prophets announce in public when they receive words of knowledge or warning for specific people instead of going directly to the concerned individuals? Sometimes it could be a warning to a head of state not do do ABC otherwise something terrible could happen, for example.

Anyone that is in ministry that does anything in ministry for money, don't trust them. Ministry is suppose to be completely free, free, free. You don't charge for anything. Money is where the devil gets followers of Christ. Money is many christians weak point. They start charging for seminars, classes, oils, tea shirts, writing books in ministry, collecting tithes, etc. If a believer in Christ can control their love for money, and work in ministry for no payment that individual is on the right path.

Sister Candice mentions (or suggests) that when having to make a sacrifice for God as a prophet that a greater promotion followed. I just want to make sure that the prophetic voices watching don't assume that will happen to them immediately all the time. It may not be returned to you for decades (and counting for me). I don't understand why that is but that is my personal experience. Now in my Sixties, I trust God is about to fulfill His promises regarding such sacrifices.

There is a difference between the Office of the Prophet Ephesians 4:11(KJV)and the gift of prophecy 1 Corinthians 12:10(KJV) Many people are prophesying out of the gift. They are not Prophets! They have the gift of Prophecy which works under the unction of the Holy Spirit! The gift can work on different levels, beginners, intermidate or advance. Real Prophets deal directly with God himself. They have various supernatural experiences and they deal with Angels. There is a huge difference. All these people are running around claiming to be Prophets. They are not! They may be prophetic people and flow heavily in the prophetic thru the gift of Prophecy under the unction of the Holy Spirit!
