It reminds me of Glennon Doyle's therapist saying she wasn't gay. Being pressured toward heterosexuality happened for me in therapy too (non-religious therapy at that). This needs to be talked about more.

This was especially beautiful to watch- specifically the fact that one was able to sit with the "this isn't me" feelings without taking it personally or running off. I've observed multiple individual women saying the feeling of some or all of their sexual attraction feels incongruent with the whole of them; but I've never seen a couple of any configuration talking about what that means. I would love to see a follow-up at some point if they're available. I don't see any visual similarities between them but I think it's interesting that other people do. Sometimes that's a sign of spiritual compatibility. They both seem unusually honest/available for intimacy. I wish the best for them- whatever that shapes up to be.

Damn ... Mary is one lucky girl, that Sarah is a Queen, a real 100% keeper. I think the two of them only need to maintain their current levels of love dedication and etc move forward sure, but never let new changes alter the way they look at each other right now. I just watched their facial expressions way more than I listened - every little mannerism and such was so telling, they are completely in love, and absolutely enamored with each other. Sarah seems to be the one much more worried about losing what they have, Mary seems pretty relaxed and unworried. Watching them made me so jealous that I haven't found a match like this, I hope that they have a forever life with each other. But back to my first point :: Sarah is a total win for whoever she is with so Mary, remember that and keep your Queen happy and safe forever.

The first one rarely lasts. You find out so much about yourselves, and change as a person. Mary has alot to work through. Maybe being older and more mature and appreciative of the experience will mean it lasts but I'm not sure - good luck to them both.

Definitely agree...the first lesbian relationship is usually key to whether or not a woman who was once heterosexual will fully accept herself as being a lesbian. That decision can weigh heavy on that persons heart bc for one she’s still ‘finding’ herself. Secondly, the struggle for self identity and acceptance can be a life time for others. Which can cause or create instability within the other partner. As there’s nothing like dating someone who maybe “testing the waters” when you yourself have been stroking that “pond” for years. Hence Sarah’s need for reassurance and hesitation towards believing in a future between the two by moving. But, the truth is everything always works out if you believe in the risks that you take!

Then the OUT partner has to stand by them through it, possibly going through this for the second time for them, and that's a lot to go through for a partner who isnt' sure what they want.

I’m guessing they’re mental health issues involved, I say this is somebody who has mental health issues and has been in relationships and has seen the challenges of this (I’m currently single).
