Don't learn coding in academic pressure. Most students do coding with academic assignments with in deadline of submission. If they don't get proper output, they copy or makeshift those projects. And after submission they loose interest because the base is not strong...You should have the fondness of programming to stay in this world...So, If you have genuine interest then you should start learning how to code. Don't follow others, follow your heart.
