I had 1 lesson with this man and it was fantastic. however, i decided to change to automatic from manual cause i wasnt bothered with manual and i wanted to get my licence faster with less lessons. However, just from the 1 lesson i had with him - hes teaching is awesome, hes supremely calm which helps you be calm, he goes through the steps of things that hes teaching you fantasticaly well and simplies it for your brain. I was stalling and making mistakes (i even wheel-spinned which can be very dangerous if there are vehicles or people close by), and he never got impatient or annoyed at any time, he was always nice, supportive and i enjoyed the lesson very much. Big respect to Mark Zondo, top man and top driving educator.

Hi Alimalek. It was a nice and enjoyable lesson. Thank you very much for this. How are your lessons going ?

@@ZONDOdriving lessons are going well. I have had 10 (17.5 hours) in total and I have a test booked for February.

I think you stop telling folks that even without any gas the car moves especially without disclaimning your car's ECU is adapted for this and compensates to prevent stalling do this is old cars and you will stall.

I agree with you. I have a 05 Toyota Matrix with high mileage. The only time that it will take off in 1st with just slowly letting off clutch is when the car first started in the mornings or after car been sitting for a while. Once driving for a while especially in stop and go traffic I will have to give a little gas when taking off in 1st

How old are we talking here? I've driven lots of cars, including some old ones and they could always move without the gas.
@stickshiftdriver18323 ай бұрын
@@ZONDOdriving 20 years old. You need to add a little gas when pulling off on an slight incline or stopped on a freeways exit ramp during a traffic jam then pulling off on that

Hey bro, can you give me tips on crossing railroads? I'm new to driving and the car is very jerky when I cross the railroads.
@alijashahi77313 ай бұрын
i passed my test in november 2022. i don’t know why but i really struggle making a smooth gear change from first to second. it always is jerky and it feels horrible. like i really have to rev it up to 3k to 3.5k rpms in first before i change it to second but im scared this level of revving will end up damaging the engine. i drive a 1.3L 2009 diesel corsa btw

Hold the clutch on the bite point a bit longer, or let it out a bit slower. That should let the engine and trans sync up more smoothly.
@alijashahi77313 ай бұрын
@@andytheffboy hey. i have tried to let it off slowly but this ends up being really jerky sometimes

How do you upshift downhil Do you press brake?
@ZONDOdriving3 ай бұрын
Yes, pressing the brakes will help control your speed. Are you doing driving lessons at the moment?
@similomangxola36323 ай бұрын
@@ZONDOdriving Yes, I'm taking lessons, just that I didn't understand why I have to press brake but I'm speeding up downhill.
