Pile 2: I'm ready to let him go if he still chooses to end our connection. But I feel he owes me an apology. His parting words were just insults, while I decided to send a more mature goodbye text where I apologized for my part in the situation that brought on out tower moment. He couldn't survive the tower moment, though I wanted us to try and resolve it. Apparently, I was more emotionally involved in the connection than he had been. And though I took accountability for my mistakes, the problem actually was out of my control. For example, our planned time together was disrupted by the change in HIS work schedule. He expected me to just reorganize my work schedule at the last minute to accommodate him. Which wasn't feasible at the time, and I couldn't control it. This is just one example. Everything was all about him, really. His feelings, his needs. I can't say he didn't invest time, efforts, and such. But when it came to expectations, things had to be his way. Sometimes I feel like he wanted me to be like a light switch. One minute, he is going to make me upset, put me down, and the next, he expects intimacy and romance. I hope he has changed, though I doubt it.
