Laterras, yes!!! God does give us God winks. When I got married almost 5 years ago I didn't realize that I would have encountered all that I had. I didn't realize that I would be hit with so many punches to the gut! Yet God knew the whole thing and He allowed my husband and I to connect. God knew that I would need one of his finest creations (he's handsome), but that's not what I am speaking of. If anyone knows the story of the eagle. My husband was able to carry my weight and I bless the Lord!!! God knows every intimate detail of our lives. None of us knows what will befall us. God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. He sees the BIG picture of our lives!!! He links us with His desires!!! Psalm 37:4 says; Delight ourselves in the Lord and that He shall give us the desires of our hearts. It is pertinent that we meditate upon God's word and that we spend time bathing in the presence of the Almighty, so that the Lord can present us to the one that He knows we need to connect. The Good Sheherd knows what we have need of. If there is a struggle in one's flesh it may mean that we need to seek spiritual counseling. I pray that everyone that desires a mate would bask in God's Holy presence until God says it is time!!!

I used to say I would never do a long distance relationship. I wanted easier access to spend time with the person. Now I realized that the people in my state was not a good fit. And that wouldn't be right to put God in a box to help connect me with my future husband. Now I'm in a long distance relationship and Im happy. Im trusting God with this process. The distance is giving me more time to heal and work on me. We have already discussed that when engagement happens, we will move to the same state to do premarital counseling and prepare for marriage.

Let me tell you something...I'm a subscriber of the My Future Wifey podcast, but this was my 1st time watching an episode of the Its Negotiable podcast and I became a subscriber after watching it in its entirety. There was so much amazing information shared between everyone and it truly touched my soul. I even watched it a 2nd time and took notes and one of the nuggets that stood out the most to me was to fix all of my broken pieces to truly become comfortable with ME then I'll start to attract those same vibrations. I'm single, never been married, no children, and I desire to be a wife one day. Thank you all for being so transparent and sharing your stories.

You know, it's a serious sinful error to say it's ok to have sex before marriage just because you found your marriage mate. That is unbiblical and seriously wrong. It's never ok to have sex before marriage. The LORD said it is sin to do so and for good reason. Brothers and Sisters in Christ we need to repent!

@@4WallsDesigns And the masculine side only comes when he feels secure. Respectfully, do you see how dumb that sounds to us men? Imagine a dude wears heels and dresses, doesn’t work and won’t protect you until he feels “secure” in the relationship. Insanity. You’re either feminine or you’re not. That’s how most of us men see it.
@4WallsDesigns

@@aaronmiles2802 I think most men look for much more than femininity. I think if that’s all they’re looking for then yes that’s dumb. Women bring so much more to the table. Besides both men & women each possess a masculine & feminine side. To what degree it’s displayed depends on the level of confidence that they can each be vulnerable with the other! So no he doesn’t need to wear a dress/heals and she doesn’t have to be Uber-feminine. Serve one another and neither has to take on the other’s natural tendencies!

@dearfuturewifey (Laterras) and Amber, you both spoke about wanting to practice abstinence until you marry your respective future spouses. However, it sounds like you feel you might not make it. It can definitely be done. Making a vow to God & not keeping it is dangerous. As a Believer, I practiced abstinence for 10 yrs before I married my husband. God kept me because I truly wanted to be kept. It was non negotiable for me. I'm not perfect, but I strive to follow God's word fully. Praying for both of your strength & a made up mind. And Amber, you are stunning btw. God bless you both! ❤

I’m watching this at 5a.m. and I cried and felt convicted at the tithing conversation. God has literally been tugging on me hard to be consistent with my tithing. I’ve been listening but I haven’t wanted to. I also haven’t had any lack. This morning I felt convicted because God has been so good to me and I act like I’m afraid to trust Him 🥹 The tithe message was for me and I receive it and I’m just so sorry to God because I know better. 💯

This is a great discussion. And the ladies that are in their 30’s and 40’s seem like your options are still brighter. Some of us are mid-fifties and it seems that our potential of finding someone is very slim. Even Laterras is talking about looking at 27 and older and he is 45. This can seem hopeless for the 50 plus woman.

Hello Judge Toller. I have been a huge fan of yours for all the years you were on your TV Show Divorce Court. I feel you made such an impact on so many lives while you were on live television in people's living rooms daily. My blessings go out to you and your family at this time. You're such an inspiration and a warrior. You have such a beautiful spirit. Everything thing that you were saying in your interview with Laterras about your mom is so relatable. I come from a strong queen myself. I would love to hear on your podcast you talking about healthy relationships and what they look like, and when to walk away if it is not. Even when there is no physical abuse or cheating involved. Also, hear your take on how long you should give someone before they should make a full commitment to taking your hand in marriage, after so many years of being together.

One of the key things about refraining from sex before marriage is that you will have something to look forward to. It’s a whole experience. When you have sex before hand, you eventually say I do at the alter then you meet in the bedroom at some point with nothing new to explore because you’ve done it already. It is the point of you exploring each other sexually. Example if you play with your gift before the day your suppose to unwrap it, when your gift is wrapped and ready to be open it’s less excitement. The wait is everything. As well as knowing you can because God has given you his blessing to and you don’t have guilt hanging over your head because of sin. This doesn’t only apply to those who are virgins either. Wait and watch (wink)
@jamesmorell1758
@jamesmorell1758 9 ай бұрын
I'm sorry but this thinking has always been wack to me. It is your responsibility no matter how long you've been together to keep the sex fresh. It doesn't matter if you start 4 years before the wedding or 15. The point is that you're gonna have to stay committed to maintaining attraction no matter when you start or how long you stay together. You're gonna have to stay committed to spicing up the same old positions and finding ways to implement new ones. Find new styles of sex, grow your intimacy. You will never get married and then say, "Dang we had too much sex before the marriage and now we have nothing to explore." Those are the words of someone lazy and inexperienced, who hasn't lived life. Sex isn't something worth waiting for and using it as a leverage tool. It's too much weird justification needed to make people want to wait. There are no magic benefits to waiting. The only thing waiting does is force you to emotionally invest more in your partner because you're too horny to think straight so you need things to work out with them. Like. . . You spend all this time thinking and fantasizing, that's a lot of emotional and thought energy being pent up. Why wouldn't you want to get married and do anything it took to make sure you got a return on your investment? Basic psychology. Anyway, the only honest justification to wait is because you believe God told you to. Anything else is a cope that anyone with moderate life experience can knock down.

Cooking and cleaning should be an ability or a desire of both the husband and wife. I think that's a viewpoint of someone who sees husband and wife in traditional roles but it's definitely not a qualification of who can be one.

This is indeed more traditional thinking. I always say I’m a traditional woman with a modern twist because I actually enjoy doing those “traditional” things. But my thoughts about marriage is anything but traditional. Everyone has to choose what works for them. At the end of the day marriage is an agreement between the two people in it, period
