Love love it ❤. Recently, I have discovered I really enjoy color pencil botanicals/flowers. I’ve tried watercolor and I’m not good at it. But I’ve not practiced enough and really trying to push myself to do it more. I love the aesthetic of watercolor, but like you I’m more of tight painter than a loose one. I love realism and detail. ❤

When I draw my paint, I erase and erase, and the paper became a mess.

Yes, if you draw and erase too much on watercolor paper it can sometimes damage your paper for painting. I like to draw my outline on a separate piece of printer or drawing paper that I can erase a lot with, and then when I get my drawing how I like, I trace it onto my watercolor paper very lightly with a pencil using a light table/ box or a well lit window in my house. This way I don’t have to erase very much or damage my good painting paper. I hope this helps! Take care and thanks for watching!
