Hold the Line is Air Force Materiel Command's campaign to reintegrate basic military activities, customs and traditions to foster increased interaction among its Airmen.
An emphasis on personal accountability led to AFMC launching the campaign in October 2010, aimed at reinvigorating the command's maintenance of standards, discipline and service culture.
As part of the campaign, AFMC bases will implement or reinstate face-to-face boards, reveille and retreat, and roll calls, among other initiatives.\
6/30/2010 - WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Beginning September 2010, Airmen assigned to the Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command who are selected to compete for quarterly awards will be required to physically appear before a military selection board.
