I went from needing to take notes while doing RC (getting a 159 PT) to no notes and no highlighting and getting a 170 PT (-3 on RC.) It’s really true that highlighting is an indicator of not truly understanding the passage. And I challenged myself to stop highlighting thanks to you two.

Worked in a Wills, Trusts, Estates & Probate firm for almost a year. Seemed to be pretty decent work life balance. Attorneys were in and out 9-5. Maybe they take one or two files home to review but that was about it.

Avoided… IF she were the murderer, she wouldn’t have left prints. THEREFORE if her prints are present, she would NOT be the murderer.

Demon user here. Guys don’t be the plundering soldier who steps into your study session doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Stop, slow down, and zoom out and look at the bigger picture. If law is your dream, this test should be your friend. Stop putting yourself through unnecessary pressure with time lines, getting frustrated with your test scores, and overdoing it with your study hours. Drill, review, and note your mistake. REPEAT. The creators of this program made the drilling tool to help improve your skills. And it works very well. Don’t over think it. You’ll be using these SKILLS in court and in law, and skills don’t come over night. Look at this like learning an instrument. We usually don’t put deadlines on ourselves with learning how to play a song… We get there little by little, day by day. Good luck to all… this test is your friend not your enemy. Law school will come beautifully to you when you nail this test.

Very well said. I like your emphasis on “the LSAT is your friend” concept. Making it into an obstacle or opponent is unlikely to help and might very well hurt. Embracing it instead of pushing it away has greatly helped me for whatever that’s worth.
