@@valkeditz31 mostly Faramis main doesn't use tanky build cause his ultimate hp bonus scale with magic power, so the more magic power he have the more hp it can provide. So there's pretty much no point on building faramis as a tank.

Also Vale is a natural counter of Gloo. When you upgrade the skill to deal more splash damage, his tornado splits into as many as Gloo's blobs are. In this case you'll lack the knock up so you'll have to play more carefully, but still. carmilla is also kind of a counter to gloo, especially when gloo is using its ult. when carmilla uses her crimson flower (skill 1) on a gloo during the first phase of its ultimate, carmilla can instantly regenerate TONS and TONS of health because each blob of gloo counts as a unit. from thereon, when gloo is attached to carmilla, you can simply use second skill to run away from danger that gloo is trying to bring you into (like turrets or gloo's awaiting allies)

when gloo was released i always use faramis against him as it is so easy to 1 kill him with 2nd skill and you can also use your mobility to put him undertower and kill him as he dont block true dmg and he easily dies there. Only problem is when on solo queue you will get taemmates that keeps on hitting gloo when you shouldnt

Faramis I believe outshines Vexanna as a counterpick, simply because he doesn't need to kill the Goos for it to work and his 2nd has lower cd than Vexanna As a solo roam Gloo, I don't think any skill in the game can backfire as hard as Gloo's ult. It has 0 mobility options and of course they are targetable, heroes with lifesteal can trigger it on all the Goos etc. And even when you ult when the enemy is full stacks the game still doesn't highlight the hero to be attached to because for some reason the devs only made it to check if you can attach if you deal damage to them while in ult. For using Gloo: Never ult early you have no way to get on top the enemy with a dash skill. Do note the ult is bugged if you ult when enemy already has max stacks. For countering Gloo: Save your dash until Gloo ults or uses his 1st(while attached to you) Lifesteal skills like Ruby works well in preventing you getting ganked. Vexanna counterpick is a bad idea, skills have long CD and don't 1 shot the Goos. I more fear my teammates dying from the Goos exploding than myself. And tbh I've won more games against Vexanna than most others.

Fun fact! The Killing Spree talent works on Gloo's tiny clones. Learned this from exerience when the dyroth in my vid suddenly fully healed while fighting him:') Edit: nvm, just checked the video. Its actually dyroths passive, the spinny circle basic attack healed him

Asides Faramis being able to ult to save his teammates from a gloo and dealing insane dmg on his gloolings These are other top gloo counterpicks; Hanabi - yes, she’s still a trash tier, but with the right positioning she can easily get away from gloo and also her bounce basic atks can also hit the gloolings (im not sure whether her ult still works on them too) Vexana - self explanatory, her passive, deal massive amounts of dmg once she successfully stuns a split gloo and lands her 2nd skill in the middle of his pile maybe killing him if he doesn’t have a lot of MR Vale - basically, u have to take his dmg aoe 2nd skill, once it hits a split gloo, it all connects with the gloolings and stacks up the dmg almost instantly killing gloo (if he doesn’t have a lot of MR), but u’d need a good tank teammate to make this work cuz now vale doesnt have a proper cc skill to defend himself against other heroes.

Vexana can also counter gloo with her passive. Basically whenever gloo ult you just need to 1st him and it will insta kill the minions, and those minion's explosions will cause a chain reaction.

Thank you for the faramis gameplay. Recently got him, not to counter gloo but he is extremly annoying for enemies. Good rotating fara can be frustrating for the enemies to get kills. XD Counter to Gloo Beside Faramis: Basic: Gloo isn't that scary! lot of people don't know how to counter opponent. 1. Vale 2nd skill first stage with glowing wand can also do the same thing as faramis, but that's a nerf for a hero potential. 2. Vexana can also do the same. 3. Dyrroth can reap gloo with 2nd skill of armor shredding. 4. Karrie the busted one can delete instantly, same goes for karina too. 5. Building demon hunter sword / trinity build combo can also be a good option. advance: Beside some tricks on battle field also helps for lanning on gloo. 1. Unpredictable on movement can avoid his first and 2nd skill combo ( mind to not get cornered). 2. If gloo ulted denying gloo to push his second skill is huge and if can dash gloo to the friendly tower can do tricks. 3. Some heroes like yu zhong ult, hanzo ult and heroes with dash skill can carry gloo to the nearby tower. 4. High mobility heroes is always a good counter. High sustain hero like Urenous is annoying to gloo.

Ez way to counter counter using gloo against faramis is to just rely on his first skill that virtually no cooldown. After sufficient mark, then you can pop the ult and just directly hop on to the target. Works everytime for part time faramis player who got overconfident.

Lunox counters Gloo by ALOT like 5x times better counter than Faramis against Gloo, when Gloo is in his Ult form Lunox can simply just use the heal from her 1st skill and when Gloo jumps on you just use your order ult, he'll get ejected and when the order ult is over it's now the time to use chaos ult 😈 then go BRRRR on Gloo, On the other hand Faramis can counter Gloo but if Gloo builds Radiant and Athena Faramis no longer deals that much against Gloo however the allied hero of Gloo will be. 💀(not unless they were out of range of Faramis' 2nd skill)

Faramis is indeed one of the perfect counter for Gloo,since it has a AOE chain attack. Tips: Faramis mage is also a good choice to make you just need the normal burst mage build but with a phew adjustments -1st item Cooldown boots(the red boots) -2nd item Clockwork of destiny -3rd item Lightning trencheon -4th item Enchanted Talisman -5th item Glowing/Genius Wand -6th item Its either Def item or Holy crystal Battle spell should probably these three -[Flicker] for escapes or ulti saves on teamates -[Barrier]for incase of emergency health -[Purify] to prevent Ultimate cancelation Use Support emblem -10% Ultimate Skill reduction and Respawn Deduction Emblem OR Mage emblem -[Magic shop]Helps give small discount for items Ps:Reply if there is still a missing Tip (Also I forgot the names of them sorry)

Glad that Faramis isn't banned that much. He is still very viable in team fights. As a roamer main, I still always pick Faramis when an opportunity arises. Sadly tank mains are few and far between and most players are more inclined on picking marksmans, assassins, so I am forced to always pick tank most of the time.

A simple tip for exp laners against gloo. If you have an enemy gloo, absolutely go for yu zhong if you can play him. He's one of the best counters to how gloo is played.

Not watching the video cause my bro played it in the background and i heard you saying if you missed anything, we should add up. This one is obscure so i will add it here. I played Gloo and they had Faramis, i would have EASILY won if it wasnt for the fact that FOR SOME REASON Faramis' ult REMOVES my stacks/mark from my victims i dived from the flank (mm & mage). Because of that, i couldnt take out the damage dealers and couldnt turn around the game as my team had 3 "incompetent players". I was exp laner and my friend was a tank but our mage, jg and mm were just useless to say the least. They couldnt make a kill from afar at all. Worst thing is we had like aamon who couldnt burst anyone. Faramis's 2nd skill isnt a big deal, for you at least. Just make sure your allies arent nearby. It is manageable to play around it, which i did.

IMO there are only two heroes that can really counter him. First place for Vexanna Second place for Faramis These two are a nightmare on most of Gloo main. Especially if these two build the right item. On the other hand, Vexanna is still the best because of her passive. Not only to Gloo, but also on Gloo's team Vexanna is a nightmare. I have encountered a top Gloo, our support is Faramis and I picked Vexanna. Lose turns into a win. We're losing to nearly because Glo got fed up by our jungler. But me and Faramis didn't give up. We did our best and we won. Gloo really changed three of his items into maguc defense and resist since our physical damager is useless. But still, full build in late game is too much for him. Tough game ever because of Gloo.

People scared of Gloo's first skill that makes him dominating in early game. Vexana and Faramis can counter him? Yes, but him in his ultimate phase. If I'm using Gloo and facing either Vex or Faramis I would likely to wait for their skill to be casted or stacking the passive as high as I can, so, I won't be in ult first phase that long. Or you can try ambush to surprise the enemy, that would work.

I was wondering why banning him? I more scared in khufra or gatot than him. I'm a Tank, Mage and Supp user. Gloo has so much hero counter than other tank and pretty hard to play with. Cecilion and Aldous can easily stack in gloos minion. Carmila, Alice, Ruby is also unli lifesteal in him, lou yi passive yingyang is pretty op and many more. 😧

Gloo isn't OP, just a bit over other tanks. Just counter him with anti-heal, push him away with flameshot/Valir 2nd skill, splash AoE dmg, slow him down, stun him. See, not that hard to counter Gloo.

Only counter Gloo when use ult... If you are Gloo main, maybe you doesn't need depend his ult... Just like old thamuz, spamming 1st skill is better, because it's has max hp dmg from target...

Funniest part is when Gloo survive but his team mates behind him die 😄😄 , just because they were behind him 😄😄😄. Faramis cannot be killed by one combo from assasins when in 1 st skill form . So its like you are playing a fighter that tank , regen and deal a lot of dmg , Can reap and chase . His skill 1 , for me is the best thing about him , you can confuse a lot enemies by Going into walls . No more getting bullied by assasins , you bully them 🤷‍♂️.

Seriously tho even time I go rank I just say open gloo and have a banter with my teammates lelz. Then I just counterpick him if he's sidelane using Uranus because yeah other than Faramis Gloo can't actually Penetrate Uranus because of how he works. Best counter overall if they banned faramis or get him but then again if gloo is the sidelaner.
