Hi Mark. My experience with optometrists and ophthalmologists was the same as yours. The doctors might be dogmatic, but an eye exam is objective. I would like to recall your achievements: Before you started on your journey, your prescription was -5.00 and -4.00 with astigmatism in one of the eyes. You have drastically improved since then. A year or two into your journey, you were able to see 20/20 for 20 minutes at a time, compared to mere 3 seconds at the very start. At some point, your eyes started focusing automatically and you no longer needed to consciously resolve the blur. Have you gotten an eye exam ever since the you started your journey? It doesn't matter what the doctor believes. The measurements would speak for themselves. The problem is with the people who call themselves scientist -- not with the scientific method. If you do not want to go to the same doctor to have your eyes checked, you can go to the other doctor that does not know that you had myopia. The new doctor can check you and give you your current measurements. That way, it would be objective. I know that cliffgnu did this and he posted his results on KZbin. So it is not impossible to improve. What is wrong with having measurements? Would you not want to know for yourself if the axial length of the eye decreased, or if you have mastered control of your ciliary to compensate for that? An eye test with cycloplegia would reveal this difference. If it turns out to be the latter case, I would still consider it to be a worthy achievement. I shall try to reach your results and answer this question for myself. I am not as disciplined as you and I have fallen and gotten up several times while learning in the process. If I make it, I will share the answer to that question with anyone who is interested. Thank you for showing the path.

This is exactly what happened to me. My eye doctor also looked at me like "yeah, that cannot be true, but whatever... if you say so..." when I told him that I was getting clear flashes by training my eyes. Similar experiences/lack of help with doctors about join and tendon pain. It has been me doing my research, practices and trusting my will to find answers that do work that has helped me improve all those malfunctions.

What techniques did u do to get the clear flashes
@JustSomebody0
@JustSomebody0 Күн бұрын
@PowerDefenseUser mostly rocking and percieving movement and depth when walking (these are from myopiaismental). I also do meditation in sessions of 20 to 30 min with my eyes looking down to the ground about a meter in front of me and often after 5 or 10 min my eyes start to make tears and I feel the same as when rocking, vision starts to sharpen, etc. Only in this case there is no motion, just contiously looking at the same spot. I don't do meditation because of this, it's like a side effect, but because I do it daily I include it in my clear vision practice

The more I get old, the more I realize that there are society systems. Western, Oriental, Vedic, Stoic, Judaism, Shamanic, Holistic, Esoteric, etc. Each of these Systems has a specific way of dealing with other topics such as; Time (future), Relationship, Family, Life, Happiness, Success, Goals, Death, Health, etc. The Western System is the most oppressor because it uses knowledge called "science" not only to validate the system itself, but also to deny/disrespect/decrease other systems.

Feeling is not what people who are improving their eyesight use to validate their progress. You know, people do not use feelings to go to an optometrist, they check reality in order to make the decision to schedule an appointment. I am not commenting on Otis Brown channel anymore, he shadowed ban me, so people can't see my comments there. If I want to share some hint or technique, it will be useless share my thoughts there.

I believe part of the vision restoration is really a shifting on our perception about time, health, priorities, life, death, relationships, and so on.. Many myopes live their lives holding so tight on things that no longer serve them. I believe your second comment do not fits in Mark's Warren viewers' view. I had new glasses recently. The optometrist told me the sun is bad for your eyes, and that she had a charity in south America, to help with eyesight. It makes no sense to me that that could be true. I think its more to do with malnutrition. The quote about "I'd rather have questions that can't be answered than questions that can't be questioned" was Richard Feynman I think.

Mark, Its me again! I have a few more questions!- They just keep coming up in my head-! If I’m about -4, do I not wear my glasses most of the time unless I HAVE to, or just not wear them as often. Because today I went without them most of the day (Except to see the board) and now my eyes feel kind of heavy in a way?. I have been doing the techniques pretty much all day without glasses. I heard that going without your glasses could cause strain (from Jake) So I just want to clarify I'm doing this right.. Do I just take them off to do the techniques only since I'm just starting out, (been doing it for maybe a week, maybe more maybe less.) then start to take them off more as I progress or something similar?? Another thought came to mind when you said that the stinging and tearing goes away as you stay consistant with the techniques, I was wondering: How do you know that you are doing it right and relaxing the ciliary muscles when you don't get the stinging and tearing sensations? I usually use those as a sign that my ciliary is relaxing. I was also wondering today how I could use the techniques as I go through a school day, Since its a lot of long, empty hallways which doesn't really give me anything good to use mobile movement with. Or when I'm spending long periods taking notes. Sorry I am asking so much, I just really don't want to mess this process up, as I have been trying different methods for about 3 years now and got nowhere, as they were all so confusing unlike this one, and I noticed I can see the computer from a slightly further distance, so I have strong hopes for this!!! So far you saved me from making MAJOR mistakes!!! Such a lifesaver. I'm so thankful for you! You have restored my hope.

It's honestly baffling to me, how doctors don't look into it and just accept it. It also came up once in a facebook group and one guy said: "Your eyes getting worse is just natural, I only knew 2 guys whose eyes were still good and the same when they were older, one is a professional tennis player, the other snooker." So basically 2 people, who unlike everyone else do these things, you are seeing in your videos, by just their work, but he thinks for sure it wouldn't work if others would try it out...

The dismissiveness many medical professionals have of anomalous cases they encounter is interesting. It shows an inability to deal with reality as it is. Even if you don't know what is going on, competent people don't jump to a canned conclusion that has no logical basis. For example, couldn't the blur adaptation idea be easily tested with simple vision tests? Professionals ask questions, they don't jump to conclusions or dismissals.

Just change your doctor every time you go get an eye test and don't bring your glasses; if you really are improving, the results will show this. I think it's actually good to have a refractor and an eye doctor test your eyes to see if they are really improving. Eye pressure test is really important, to be sure, plus lens is not hurting you.

Sometimes I get tired around noon. I try not to rely on coffee, caffeine, sugar or carbs to perk me up. I tend to listen to my body and if I need a little power nap, I'll take it. After a short nap I always feel better and my eyesight is better. Many times during the week I put my kid to bed around 7:30pm. I'll take a short nap and then wake up and work up to 10 - 11pm. I find after a short nap, my vision is the best during this time. Do what feel right to you. I will had if I do need a little pick me up and can't do a nap, I find a glass of water with a pinch or two of sea salt (preferably minimally refined) works wonders. This is due to magnesium and trace minerals of potassium.

On my last eye exam, I was told I might be showing the early signs of presbyopia. However now after learning what I have, I believe many of the exam conditions that happen as we age are due to lack of mobility and tension in the eyes. Bates also said relaxation is the key to avoiding age related eye problems. I do believe what I teach in the masterclass can help with many of these conditions if they're caught earlier enough for the fact that my eyes are getting better as I age instead of getting worse.

@@MyopiaIsMental Thanks for your kind reply. Yes, you always stressed about relaxation and it is quite true. Yesterday my stress was high for some reason and my vision was blurrier than usual, both long and near. I was told that there is no cure for presbyopia because it's age related. Years ago, I was loosely practicing some of the Bates technique like swinging and then I used your method to rock side to side but got distracted along the way with work pressures, home pressures, etc. I will check out your website for more details.
