I remember always doing that. Same with the jump to the ocarina symbol ledge in the water temple. I got on it once by jumping more to the left.

I think the most popular place to find this glitch is on the 3rd level of the water temple in the main room. If you try to jump over to the sign that lets you raise the water level all the way up, you'll run into this infinite "DUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUH-"

Former and hopefully future OoT Speedrunner again but, this happens in a ton of places. Next to king zora with the hoverboots was the first one anyone found dating back to 1999. Majora's Mask has more glitchy ledges in general though particularly the Japanese version like crazy.

I recall this happening to me a few times. The programming for this game is a bit janky at times, which is on par with several N64 games. It doesn't make it any less of a beloved game, though.

This is a bug Nintendo never fixed you can easily execute it why would you want to no idea but Ocarina of Time was part of my childhood and I absolutely loved it and Majoras Mask I never liked the 3 day count but I adapted when I was a kid.
