Thanks Tim. I'd second the suggestion to interview Dr Christine Jones, and recommend viewers take a look at some of her videos on KZbin. And to educate yourselves on soil health and ecological functioning including soil health principles to provide a habitat for a healthy soil biome.

Good morning, Tim, luckily, I had a cup of coffee when I sat down. But I needed a second one and a note pad. This chap is really interesting to listen to. I would attend any lectures he was doing. I will save this video for another watch this evening. Cheers

I really enjoyed listening to this over and over as I edited it (which took a while). Glad you enjoyed it!

So my question is, if plant can uptake only what it needs, then why there is heavy metal toxicities in plants, like Cu, Zn etc?
@FarmLearningTim6 ай бұрын
My understanding is that If pH is out of wack, other nutrients are out of balance or these nutrients are in dramatic oversupply then the concentration gradient can result in toxic levels being uptaken into the roots.

We have goats , they are low in copper. Thing is supposidly the ground is not low copper , Its high iron . Is there a soil additive than can fix this over iron availability ?

My gut reaction is to provide mineral licks. Best discussed with an agronomist as recommended in the video mate

Hey Tim, what is the image at 15:42? I can't make any sense out of it. Where is it from?

I’m afraid that this was the best illustration that chat gpt could deliver of a stomata and guard cells. I am limited in the artwork I can use for copyright reasons.

Thanks for the insight Tim, however how about an alternative view and interview Dr Christine Jones

I have and will continue to showcase leading opinions from a range of schools of thought. In past episodes these have included Biodynamics, Regen Ag and mainstream Agricultural science. I am always open to learning from the best. Glad you got insight from Chris. Stay tuned for more.

Tim, you absolute madlad, about a year ago, your vids on your vineyard pushed me to begin researching planting a vineyard on my property....today, I just sent off my second batch of 8 soil samples for a potential vineyard test site...I come home from working in the rain and you post this vid!! Keep doing what you're doing. Respect from South Carolina, US.
