Just wanted to provide a quick summary of powerful Reactor mod combinations since this video got too long. 1. For Colossus hunting specifically: Skill Atk to Colossus + 1 Skill Power Boost Ratio modifier does the most raw damage 2. For general purpose: 2x Skill Power Boost Ratio modifiers are good for all content 3. For mobbing: a Skill Range Increase + skill power boost ratio is a great combination for some descendants 4. Skill Cooldown and Skill cost down are great well-rounded modifiers for most descendants. 5. Crit modifiers are a trap for most descendants unless you have a naturally high crit chance like Sharon (she has a 20% base skill crit chance)

I did not even realizes the video was long. That is because the content was very interesting.

Reactors have like 11 modifiers... Skill power, sub power, weapon optimize modifier, the different power modifiers (they "can" be counted as separate because they each use modifiers differently), element modifier, skill type modifier, and the 2 random modifiers at the bottom. Are you lumping each reactor section together? Each piece in every section can do something different, changing the way you play characters depending on the bonuses.

Great video, first one I've seen that goes in depth to reactor sub-stats. For an Ultimate Lepic build based on your video I'd assume the best stats for a Lepic Overkill bossing reactor would be Fire Skill/Tech Skill Power Boost Ratio + Additional Skill Attk to Colossus? Most videos guides seem to suggest Skill Critical Hit Damage + Additional Attk to Colossus is better. What are your thoughts on that?
@GooberTroy2 ай бұрын
It depends on what Lepic's base skill crit hit rate is. I don't have Lepic so I can't confirm. In the case of Esiemo, he only has a 5% base crit chance. Because of his awful crit rate, having a reactor with crit chance doesn't do much for him. If Lepic does have 15% crit chance or more, then you would probably get some decent value out of crit on him. Going for crit damage is a lottery unless there's some modifier to help bump his crit chance up high enough. Going Fire/Tech skill power + colossus skill attack damage will be more consistent, but it will have a lower skill ceiling than crit.

To this channel guy, can you do an in depth explanation on how the External Components work also?.....

Is there ever a time a purple is better to use than a gold? Because it kind of sucks you get the extra damage when you only have one equipped..
@GooberTroy2 ай бұрын
@@jaykelz1528 if you’re just doing some general mobbing, you can get away with using a purple. In fact a lot of my secondary descendants are still using purple reactors. I think the only time it’s really worthwhile to use a gold for mobbing is if you have it for a weapon that’s decent for mobbing such as Thundercage or for a weapon you’ve invested quite a bit into. In my case, Secret Garden is the weapon I’ve invested the most resources into and it does the most damage of all my weapons, so I could go for a mobbing-focused reactor that has a secret garden mounting

Purp reactors give their bonus while just equippedon person, where as gold reactors you must have the legendary gun in hand. Do you think having a purp reactor would be more consistent dmg than a gold?
@GooberTroy2 ай бұрын
@@Dmagicman52 It’s really dependent on the weapon the gold reactor requires as well as what you have built up. You want it to be a weapon you would use as a primary weapon, so likely not a heavy weapon for example simply because the gun swapping can be annoying. If you have a gun you’ve heavily invested into, such as Enduring Legacy or perforator, then finding a gold reactor with an Enduring Legacy is worth it. Otherwise you’ll be fine getting by with a purple reactor for most content for now
@michaelcaley13592 ай бұрын
The main issue with the purple reactors is that they are much more difficult to target farm.

So for someone like lepic, would att to boss and crit dmg be better or tech skill and att to boss?

I have a question and I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere. How does the "Skill power when equipped" section help with descendants that have abilities that don't run off of skill power? Example is Luna's ability "Relaxing Act". In the entire text of the ability, it doesn't mention anything about "Skill power". It scales off of her Max MP. So, would using a reactor that boosts this particular ability be worthless or does using a reactor benefit these types of abilities in some different way? I've ran a couple of tests in the lab and I don't see a difference. I need help.
@GooberTroy2 ай бұрын
I’ve come to the same results as you. If a skill doesn’t scale with any particular sub-stat (fusion, tech, etc.) via skill power, then you can seemingly skip that stat on the reactor. This probably makes building a support a bit easier since they’re more dependent on the reactor’s random stats like cooldown and skill duration up
