The point about the rough mix is so true. I second-guessed my mixing skills for a long time before I realized that my tracking skills is what actually needed the most work. After that, the mixing part came a lot easier.

Recording tracks to layers in Studio One is a great feature for double tracking. Record multiple vocal layers on one track, duplicate track complete then comp both vocal tracks separately to get a vocal double affect.
