I tried requeening one of my MEANEST colonies and they would not accept a mated queen from my apiary (nucs) they eventually died out. Now some of my most defensive colonies produce the most honey so I'm reluctant to requeen. Sorry NO on the bee offer I have plenty of my own.

I would like to add to you talking about the bees being mean . On the bad weather even if your bees are a little hot an you are not having bad weather. Your bees can tell if there is a storm is coming. I think it is because the pressures change an it may be the next day but I really really think they can tell when storms are coming

hi thanks for watching. yes, this hive will be requeened in the spring for that very reason. But I did not video later in the year when requeening would have been harder to pull of. They are nasty for sure

Haha, I feel you! That hive looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie! But trust me, once you get the hang of it, it can be pretty cool!
