Sorry, but I laughed at your first tee shot! If you don’t mind, please educate us on how club fitters choose shaft matrix. Here in Scottsdale, it seems like I can’t find the same shaft (manufacturer+weight+flex) at two or more different fitting locations. What one carries, the others don’t. For example, I wanted to try out a Ventus Red 6R. Cool Clubs has it, True Spec & Cool Clubs don’t. I wanted to test it against Diamana TB 6R. Club Champion has it, the other two don’t.

That’s a great question, generally it comes down to a couple of things with the most important being space on the wall, as an example we don’t have any Mitsubishi or Tour Ad shafts on our wall, it’s not that they aren’t any good it’s just we don’t have any more room. The other thing is price points, as an example if I were to have say the Ventus, Tour Ad, LAGOLF, and Diamani lines on the wall, well they are all going to sit at that high price point. So although each shaft will perform and feel a little different I just wouldn’t have enough options to cater to all of the different budgets that will come through the door, so in the end it really is about trying to find a nice mix of different profiles at different price points to fit any golfer and any budget. Once again great questions. Thanks

Is it really the club?

Well the beautiful thing is it’s either the Indian or the Arrow, and often more than not it is the Arrow.
