This song literally changed my life: I first heard the original version of this during a yogscast stream in 2010. It began my love of Area 11 but also anime which led to me making loads of anime freinds at university including my ex girlfriend. Some of those anime freinds are still with me a decade later and the choices I made through them are still impacting me now, like how I have my current job because of them. For those wondering, "mou oshimai da" means "it's hopeless" or "it's all over." Basically a statement of sheer despair. Area 11 really did an awesome job of conveying Lelouch's despair and horror alongside his conviction to utilize it to the utmost for the Black Rebellion. Freaking love this song!

So... after listening to Area 11 for many months now, I decided to watch Code Geass to see how it impacted on this and Knightmare/Frame. And I finished the first series yesterday, and these songs have so mant goddamn feels in them, this song makes me as sad as Code Geass made me as Episode 22 did. God I'm almost in fucking tears again. I think that anyone who loves Area 11 should watch the Animes behind the songs they love the most, it adds so much meaning to them. I liked this song before but now I truly see just how great it is.

In 2016 I used to listen to this song a lot on the bus to school. It was my first year of secondary school so I was 12 going on 13. Now it’s June 2022, my leaving cert exams are in 6 days and I finished secondary school last week. Time fucking flew by. I look forward to where life will take me from here. What impresses me about Area 11, is that the fact that most of the 98k subs that they have, and the hundreds of thousands of fans they have, aren't Yogscast subscribers. It must be hard for a band to become as famous as the bigger band out there (Take That for an example), especially, when you've just started with no-one knowing you. And the thing is, Area 11, deserve way more fans than what they have.
