Area of a Composite Figure

Learn how to find the area of a composite figure that is made up of a rectangle and a semicircle.
Step 1 Find the area of the rectangle using length times width
Step 2 Find the area of the semicircles and then subtract this value from the area of the rectangle.
Area is always squared.
