I think VW needs feedback on this. Too many presses to get the overhead view. On the '21 it was one button and you have it. Now you have to press park assist then tap the screen for area view, and tap again to turn of the park assist. Very annoying.

And the top down view needs to be zoomed out by 30-50% more to see what’s around you. Yes, the new system is not good at all.

Thanks for this great tutorial! There’s no way to remove those guide lines on the aerial view, is there? I just got a 2024 atlas and I find those really distracting as compared with the really clear aerial view I had on my previous car.

Hello, great question. Unfortunately the trajectory lines are not able to be removed.

Is there a way to just turn on cameras and not park assist?

Hey Jose, we had a Jeep Grand Cherokee - L that we could turn the rear view camera on while driving. Is that an option on the atlas?

Does the 2019 SEL rline have this?

Ok i this has nothing to do with the cameras. But how come the sensors dont beep without the cameras on?
@JoseVWAficionado Жыл бұрын
Hello! They do start to beep as you approach something. On the infotainment screen, there's a pop up that comes up with the picture of the vehicle and shows the proximity to the object your approaching.

@JoseVWAficionado ours doesn't beep unless the cameras are on in the screen. The 2022 we had would beep even with the side walk or even puddle.

Cameras are probably my biggest dislike of this vehicle.
