As a Charge Blade main, they really do need that SAED buff. I understand why they nerfed it in favor of the Savage Axe mode, but they nerfed it SO HARD there is no longer any reason to ever throw the SAED. You are FAR better off just staying in Savage Axe as long as possible. We need a happier medium in between pizza cutter and nuke dropper. Right now the pizza cutter feels fresh AF, but the "nuke dropper" feels more like a dud.

It's not the sword-mode in switch axe, it's the overall damage being too low, with the fear of revolving everything around the full release slash. In the demo you'll need to spam a slow attack (great opening for Rey Dau's one shot attack) to somehow compete with weapons like lance (no front, I love the lance, but the point of lance is swapping defence for safety) Alma advertised this weapon as a heavy hitter. Capcom needs to crank all those numbers up

@@CowboyRoninX if so, you'll need a new, completely overpowered skill specifically for the switch axe, like phial damage in poweraxe mode or such. As I stated I can't see any current skills or mantles that would put swaxe even in the middle in wilds endgame if they don't change anything from the beta (and this includes any gear you could find in current games). I've actually seen the speedrun and the guy has perfected the gameplay, using offset/counter to not get interrupted and spammed as many full release slashes (currently the strongest attack) as possible in Rey Dau's face. Switch Axe now requires a high level of skill that doesn't pay off. Every other weapon would be a better choice

In comparison to World, Full Release Slash in this game feels like a slightly better ZSD for grounded playstyles. However, ZSD in World is just an extension of our core Axe and Sword attacks, which are the primary sources of our DPS. Reducing the motion values (MV) of these basic attacks is effectively a straight-up nerf to our overall damage output. I don't know what the full game has in store for Switch Axe, but based on the open beta, Switch Axe does feel like the weakest weapon, scoring Rey Dau speed run time just slightly above Lance (which has the best defense) and lower than a non-elemental Dual Blades, despite having a 9.5/10 run with a little help from Thorngrass. On a brighter note, I did notice in the newer Tokyo Game Show build that the Sword counter can now trigger on monster roars, so that's one improvement we'll surely get.

@ryryryot yeah something like axe/sword for fast moving monsters or enraged monster, with elem discharge/full release slash when you got the window for it and a little bit of zsd here and there. The basic mechanics of wilds switch axe are beautiful, but to compete with stronger monsters basic axe and sword attacks need to be stronger (as you said). But being able to counter a roar sounds good. I'm curious if they'll apply damage changes if a second beta drops.

thing that could be better in MHW after playing beta: 1. hitstops 2. better hit/impact sounds 3. more OOMPH/BONK in general (like in world - weapon miesses generate dust and debirs on bigger scale) 4. BLOOD! :D there is little bit of blood in wilds beta but its so small amounts most of the times you cant even see it. i miss old japanese version of MH where there was lots of blood showing weak monster parts

especially the tcs for greatsword lacks hit feedback of any sort. sadly i missed the survey, but i'm glad to see other people are mentioning it. it literally made the gs feel so bad in comparison, that i had no fun playing it. and that's a shame, since the nearly perfect weapon in world that only was lacking a real block and buff to the upswing, got exactly that in wilds... i don't care for the other stuff and the wound focus attack is kinda lame and not gs like to me, but it's fine. i played like 95% of the time in world and rise just with gs and despite having all of those new tools, i will drop it for sure, if the hitstop is not gonna make it to wilds. but i'm also worried about the possibly new direction of making gs more "fluid" and easier to hit with, in exchange for single hit power. like you have easier times to aim a tcs, but the dmg got nerfed? i would absolutely hate it and i don't care if the weapon is overall stronger this way. it just feels not as good/fitting now. also the gs that was available in the beta looked kind of small... i really do not like this as well. is that only me?

That's why the open beta test was a great idea for them. Then can tune the monsters, weapos and such before giving out demos. AFTER demos, again, if players are vocal about it - they listen. On public release, expect that most of the feedbacks are heard and are implemented. BUT again, not every feedback will be implemented.

@@VigilanteMike Once you learn the new lance, it's more capable of continuous aggression than world lance, with the caveat that it's significantly more demanding to play requiring both more knowledge of the monster and weapon, and also better moment to moment judgment and timing. As a lance main of 5000+ hours, it was jarring at first but with effort it became clear how incredible the new lance is.

@@veryDave I'm having fun with the weapon but it's definitely my least favorite iteration when compared to fifth generation games. Some of the stuff I like is being able use focus mode strafing mid thrust and the new triple thrust finisher which lets us reset our combo without needing to backhop. I just don't get why we couldn't get the new stuff without nerfing the old stuff. Like why make high thrust more laggy to use compared to mid thrust? Why is dash attack start up so slow. Why is guard dash and leaping thrust so short? Why is counter thrust now a combo finisher that has a guard point? Of the new stuff the only thing I dislike is our focus attack, victory thrust. The dash makes it really annoying to control because it repositions you so much depending on the wound location. You can get around this by ending it early by using the finisher. But it kinda sucks that it feels like lance is the only weapon that encourages the user to not use their full attack.

@@bnkapow So I'm not the designer, but I can at least give a few points where I see merit in the design as is. High thrust: A couple of things here. The different timing is useful in the context of slowing your combo fractionally, while doing more damage than a mid thrust and being faster than a leaping thrust or wide sweep. The third high thrust being lower damage than the mid thrust is a less appealling trade being slower and lower damage, but again, sometimes you'll want to slow it down just a bit, and sometimes you will simply do more damage because mid thrust won't hit high enough. As to why this greater variation of speed and power and positioning is good even when slower, setting up for Charge Counter while also smoothly doing damage is a big driver in addition to the usual motivations mentioned before. Dash Attack: The startup of a raw dash attack d idn't seem particularly slower than world to me (albeit I had hoped it would be faster in wilds compared to world in any case!). The perfect guard Counter Dash Attack though is a lot faster. There is one other reason - while the startup is still slow, Dash Attack itself now hits FAR more frequently than it did in world, and, if I remember correctly (need to do proper comparison yet), relatively harder. It also benefits from being immediately level 2 charge when done from a perfect counter. In short, it's a lot stronger than it was in world, so making it also start up faster even from raw in addition to that seems possibly excessive. Guard Dash and Leaping Thrust: Leaping thrust is now stronger, and only hits twice. As for the ground coverage aspect, this is likely as our standard Dash Steps now cover significantly more ground than they did in World - and we may also yet see the return of Evade Extender. I don't think Guard Dash and Leaping thrust in Wilds Lance are meant for more than minor distance closing in Wilds, compared to World's version where it actually makes Dash Stepping largely obsolete outside of certain situations. Counter Thrust: So while I also got the impression at first that Charge Counter was just a shuffled Counter Thrust, it absolutely isn't and is a different tool for different use. The closest analogue we have to counter thrust is simply guard/p guard and then choosing the counter type, remembering that all the attacks we used to have to use counter thrust to be able to cancel out of early to a block we can instead use a normal block (or ideally a perfect guard), which nets us both the counter options in addition to the damage and KO of the auto shield bash counter. Charge Counter, on the other hand, is very different - it has that higher set of conditions to meet to use it (not just the need for a 3 hit combo but also the timing on the relesase) because, simply, it's grossly powerful. Unlike other guards, it *completely* negates incoming damage and stagger while also dishing out a huge amount of damage when you use it correctly and absorb an attack with it to get the doubled thrust counter. Focus Strike: You're right we can cancel it early but sacrifice damage, but I found that the turning circle on it with Focus Mode is basically 0 - you can more or less stay in place while executing it and run back and forth on the point of the monster you want to hit. Though I'm not sure yet if that's actually worth it since the hits during the run aren't that much damage, it's mostly loaded at the end, and finishing it sooner means you also get to then go to town sooner and set up your next combo and ideally your next charge counter in time for an attack better. If there's anything I'd like them to change, it's probably dash attack startup when done from a perfect guard, if only by a little. As for damage output, it's way too early to say anything as we have no idea about skills and what monsters give us good and bad matchups, and moreover with such an involved moveset this time that so deeply ties into learning matchups compared to world, it'll be a long time before it shakes out.

It's been said enough already, but weapon weigth is something missing. Part of what makes MH special to me is how you can really see on the screen the weapon weigth and impact, but no so much in demo, where it looks like standard anime hits with zero impact.

Yeah CB doesn't look or feel like it hits heavy when in reality it would be the top 3 heaviest weapons and with the leverage in axe mode it would hit hard af. They need to add more screen shaking during powerful hits and vibrations.

For fun I always do the anime yell, like “SAED~~Haaa!!!” Or “dragon~~~piercer!!” I did it on my first dragon piercer for example and the attacks were like “pop pop pop…pop” Same with SAED 😂 I posted about this during beta test on reddit and also Capcom feedback. I really hope they can do something about this. Otherwise, the beta test was incredible!

Dataminers and Modelers confirmed, at least for the GPU side, that the Beta was an April build; Didn't have a LOD system in place, so every monster/NPC/Object/etc. were at their max polygonal detail at any distance from the player. Which you would guess meant it was harsher on the GPU and caused vram overflow, and how it lead to the N64 polygon bug for PC gamers.

The one balance change I'm hoping for is Bow's tracer arrows not giving permanent level 3 charge. It takes all the skill out of keeping your charge level up and turns the bow into a brainless cheese weapon. If it's not changed on launch, I'll probably mod the .fsm myself to do it.

For the Lance I do agree that it needs to be faster mainly on the moves that got added recovery times (for example High Thrust, Leaping Thrust, Guard Dash, etc) and higher damage payback Thrust meeting to be higher with Leaping Thrust doing three ticks of damage again instead of the two it does currently). But I don’t think Lance users will be satisfied unless you make Counter Thrust not stuck behind a three-poke combo. Counter Thrust needs to be able to be used while performing High Thrust. By a press-and-hold system. This way you get the semi-classical way of playing Lance with the New way. Maybe having guard points during the start and end of the Counter Thrust as we don’t have our shield blocking the whole time. Idea example: Counter Thrust: Ô High Thrust: O Mid Thrust: A Ô O O + Ô O + O + Ô A + O + Ô O + O + O + (O or Ô) A + A + O + (O or Ô) O + A + O + (O or Ô) Edit: spelling and grammar

I can't wait for Wilds to come out!! I'm so hype and excited for it. I wish it was here already. Side note DD2 can still be successful with a dlc expansion and I will play it again. It's unfortunate that it fell short. It had so much potential and it was forgotten/not memorable. If they add more variety of enemies, more weapons/armor, and a hard mode it can potentially be great. I also wish DD2 wasn't level zone base as well with enemies. It was too easy when you were over level. Enemies shoulda been balanced out whatever your level was on.

Praying for some good swaxe changes. Going from how smooth it felt in Rise, to the FRS spam+poor morph combo flow+meter management issues of Wilds was just wrong. There was zero reason to be in sword mode at all and both the counter/offset felt inferior to other weapon's new defensive options. I'll probably be looking at changing my main wep for the first time since 4U.

For dual blades demon guage being filled by demon mode roubdslashes and flurry rush is HUGE. That's how I used to fill up my Guage in World and I was sad to see it go because we use guage far more actively now. I'm so glad it's back.

Mostly loved the beta. I played it on pc and luckily had no performance issues but I have a high end rig so I fully respect that more optimisation is needed however my 2 big issues were simply weapon sound effects lacking as well as the feel being very off with so little hitstop. My switchaxe needs a lot more oomph. Going back and trying generations ultimate, world and rise and in all 3 games the weapons feel SO much better. We need some of that hitstop back and more oomph to the sound effects. LOVE the Seikrat and gathering from a distance. Wound system is fantastic too though the jury is out on that focus mode. Controlling a reticle in melee range with a controller is quite wonky and might lower the skill ceiling quite a lot for a number of weapons given that it negates a lot of the commitment to positional attacks. Time will tell though as it all depends on how monsters are designed around it. Really hope the game does not become too easy as a result. :)

Lance being so low in damage makes no sense, it has the EXACT same defensive capabilities as the gunlance, but like half the damage. Why would anyone ever use it over it? It also needs like 7 gem slots to be able to properly block damage, and even then you take half your HP in chip damage, and drain your entire stamina bar. Then you have weapons like longsword that s through every monster attack, does damage while doing it, AND get a resource for doing it. Why does lance even exists anymore? No wonder it's on the bottom of the list, and I say this as a lance main since monster hunter 1.

If I had the right to one wish for a Hammer, it would be, when holding forward and release a level 3 charged attack to move a little forward, like in a Rise (in Wilds beta we performed attack in place regardless of direction input). But it is not necessary we have Charged Step.

I got to play on the last day it was available on USA, November 3rd, after an hour of trial and error trying to just get it to run. I didn’t have time to fight more than just a couple of monsters. I was planning to play it all day the next day, the day they said it would end, I thought they meant it would run until 11:59PM on the 4th but apparently they meant it’d run until the 4th in Asia, which was the 3rd in America. I was very disappointed.

Sorry but people that still complain about the IG bounces are missing the point by a mile. The problem with wilds IG is the fact that enhanced ground combos need triple buff, not just red buff anymore. This is a problem because the OBJECTIVELY BEST PLAY when you have triple buff is to use the next possible opening to do the big finisher that uses up the triple buff. And as a longtime IG main I found it p*ss easy to squeeze the finisher in safely in most openings. It really doesn't take long to do since you can do it after engaging with a jump and dive. So that means now your buffs are gone, and you NEED to get ALL THREE back because IG is USELESS without the better combos. Every IG main can confirm that the non enhanced base combos are almost as bad as using HBG melee attacks for DPS lmao. So you collect triple buff and... oops... we arrived at the OBJECTIVELY BEST PLAY once again, doing the finisher.... which consumes the buff. You get the problem? Capcoms IG design basically made it so doing EXCLUSIVELY A SINGLE FINISHER ATTACK AND GATHERING EXTRACTS is the ENTIRE COMPETETIVE GAMEPLAY of the weapon. THAT is the problem. The aerial, while I see no good reason to take the fun away from us, is fine on paper. The big problem is the triple buff into finisher loop. The only other move you ever wanna do is the focus strike as it deals good damage and obviously... collects triple buff so you can loop again. New IG is entirely repetetive and will see you loop the same exact 2 moves 50 times in like 5 minutes. The ground combo moveset you unlock from getting triple buff is NEVER EVEN USED BECAUSE YOU COULD JUST DO THE FINISHER INSTEAD. The aerial is funnily BETTER than the ground moves because at least those attacks can trigger a mount xD So ironically, they "BUFFED" aerial because there simply is no reason to use ground combos anymore. So because it can trigger mounts, aerial becomes more meta by default. Also, they just randomly nerfed the little stab forward of the weapon. For some reason that stays the same wether you have triple buff or not. In previous games it would become much faster and hit twice. Now it's the same sluggish thrust that leaves you open for way too long and does zero damage even with triple buff. That one actually feels unintentional tbh, hope they fix that. Anyways, HH got lots of love, so I guess I'll return to being a HH main since they completely massacred all fun and variety IG had to offer. Worlds IG was really the best iteration, because the aerial was fun and had utility in capclosing and dodging BUT was not the best DPS like kinsect slash aerial in rise for raw damage, so that means you still had a reason to use ground combos regularly. But because the dive attack is so strong in world, it also means you would get a good damage reward for aerial dodging stuff, closing the distance and punishing the monster with it before transitioning into ground combos. World had BY FAR the most enjoyable, non repetetive gameplay for the weapon. Where every move in it's arsenal served a purpose(almost, the triple light attack combo didn't really, noone really uses that third light attack, ever). So you had a moveset that only had A SINGLE MOVE that was not important to use situationally for optimal play. Aka 99% of the weapons kit saw use in optimal play. That is phenomenal design quite frankly. Now in wilds... like 10% of the weapons moveset is needed for optimal play. At least in the beta. I'm praying they change this up A LOOOOT. TLDR: IG only has a single loop it wants to do anymore. Collect triple buff, use finisher, repeat. It's the most repetetive and braindead weapon in the entire game BY A MIIIIILE from the beta. They need to change this in some way. The easiest solution would be to give the big finisher some seperate resource that essentially forces you to not spamm it. Like a wyvern fire cooldown. But then ofc the rest of the moveset needs SLIGHT damage buffs to compensate.

While I agree with you on basically everything you said but I think that you are being too dismissive of people's complaints about the removal of aerial because even if it wasn't optimal it was fun and a part of IG's identity. All good points tho.

It's a boring weapon. While many people did not like rise/sunbreak, it had some fun variations for insect glaive gameplay, and it feels like capcom took a step in the wrong direction for IG gameplay. It is a broing weapon now that has no soul and just feels so repetitive.

As an IG main, I obviously agree. I'll probably switch to bow or long sword or DB exclusively at this point. These weapons are a lot more fun and LS never disappoints, they made it better in every fuckin way and gave it cool new moves. You can do so many different combos. IG has one main combo. Only thing that would make me play IG at this point is having the mid air combos from Sunbreak in addition to the current combos

The shields, especially gunlance's shield, need to have their effective angle increased. It seems like it's only 90 degrees in the beta, but it should be closer to 180.

Charge blade feels so... slow, as compared to worlds. Its as if there is a delay with all movements. The "hold button" for the axe spin feels off too

Let guard points on charge blade be as good as perfect guards and I'll be just fine. Felt pretty bad when my reward for timing a guard point was massive knockback and chip damage.

i dont know what the hell they were thinking when they decided to make guard points useless. every guard point should automatically count as a perfect guard. They know how to distinguish between regular guard and guard points becuase they already did that in world (giving guardpoint enchanced guarding abilities).

I can't be the only one that prefers the World style HUD rather than the old nintendo esk HUD style that Rise had. Although it's not a big issue, I really think it would make the game look a lot better and polished like World did if they took the same approach.

The only change I really want, as a CB main, is the savage axe playstyle back from Iceborne. I absolutely dislike, that you're depending on monsters attacks or the Focus mode to activate the SA mode now. But I guess unfortunately that will not happen...

Right there with you, CB just felt so off to play during the beta and honestly bummed me out a lot, it just doesn't feel as fluid to play anymore. I already dislike the focus system and it being the main way to get to max DPS with CB just makes me sad.

I just don't like savage axe at all. Weird weapons are one thing but this is over the top. Just make it like it was in Pre-Iceborne but not to rely on SAED as one trick do-all. That won't happen too I guess..

@@CorelUser I know what you trying to say. But no, for me that's still an issue. But I explain a bit more detailed what I meant! First of all, I dislike the most, that the SA mode has a timer now. And that you can stay in it for only 120 seconds. In Iceborne you could've stayed in the mode like forever if you're managing your phials correctly. And that was the most awesome thing, I think. Now in Wilds when your timing is bad for example, it can happen that you activate the SA mode, and then after this the monster flys away and you lose a huge amount of time of the SA mode cause you need to going after the monster of course, and btw. that's what fcks me up the most in the beta... As a hunter I rather want to decide myself when and how long I want to play in a specific mode like it was in iceborne and not like wilds where I have to wait until I can block a light attack PERFECTLY or attack one monster part long enough to open up a Wound and attack with the Focus mode finisher to activate the SA mode for 120 sec only... Sorry, that's really ridiculous to me. 🤷🏻♂️

I feel like Rise/Sunbreak switch axe was the iteration that truly took advantage of its switching capabilities. If they move the spinning double slash morph attacks from sword’s lights back to its heavies, and give the forward overhead slam the ability to transition into rising double slash, the move set will have much smoother loops from sword to axe. Also Phial explosions in axe mode pls capcom

Customizable moveset like Rise Switch Skills is a must for me. I feel they are alread going to skimp out on quantity of armor due to them making the gendered sets unrestricted, and they will considered that good enough feature for the fashion hunter side of things. That being said, the gameplay side of things needs to have the variety, cuz having a weapon behave the same from the beginning of the game to the end is an outdated idea of old MH. Everything else is in the game changing, so the movesets being static movesets should change too.

Lance in the Wilds beta was such a travesty in balance. I've been a Lance main for a long time now, and I had a lot of fun with it in Wilds, but good god the damage is so bad. I genuinely think that letting us start the charge counter from any point in a combo (not at the beginning, but after the first poke would be fine) would make the weapon feel so much stronger, if they want to lean into using that move a ton. And it wouldn't even remove the point of perfect guard, since charge counter has quite a bit of startup frames, so it wouldn't fill the role of the fast twitch counter the guard provides. General speed and motion value buffs are obviously necessary as well

So I have been coming up with an idea for one change that’s similar to your idea and that's a press-and-hold mechanic. This lets you use the Counter Thrust when performing the High Thrust. Example: Counter Thrust: Ô High Thrust: O Mid Thrust: A Ô O O + Ô O + O + Ô A + O + Ô O + O + O + (O or Ô) A + A + O + (O or Ô) O + A + O + (O or Ô)

That’s not nearly enough of a buff for swax we need to see some damage buffs as well as an improvement to the morph flow; when I run out of gauge in sword mode I want to morph attack back into axe not do a neutral morph. I’ve exclusively played swax since 3U and I think that the switch axe is in the worst shape it’s ever been.

I played the game on a potato so I'm not giving input oh performance til I use my good computer. However. Looking back id say the swaxe underperformed greatly. Swaxe is my main weapon. It hits my dopamine receptors. I played most the other melees. Longsword deletes enemies so fast that i don't like using it. It's got dopamine but you break your playthings before you can really get started. I'm REALLY hoping that's a low rank thing. Greatsword is like hitting a swimming pool with a scalpel. It just wooshes in and out with no physical visceral crunch and leaves me wanting as i delete an enemies hp, in fact greatsword is easier than it's ever been, even by rise standards. Insect glaive... 3 extracts, special move. 4 times and you win. Gunlance? Really fun, you can't die and you kill the enemy quick, but not like the other 3. Yet the switch axe? It's a struggle for survival while not feeling like the dopamine popcorn machine it was in world. Your health goes down during the offset (would be fine but longsword pulls damage like a cartoon has gimmicks and can just choose not to take damage at all.) The sword counter is very janky and can morph you back 25% of the time. Every single attack leaves you completely open for way too long. The weapon itself however is fun. From discharging into a full release to hitting wounds and easily charging your sword, or using it in axe mode to get the meter to max. (though my hunting partner may get tired of me stealing wounds) to standing my ground with an offset to safely get my boost in axe mode. Yet enemies take so much longer in comparison to die. In all honesty. It needs more damage to how vulnerable you are. I'm getting carted due to chips from offsets or some attacks leaving me dead open just long enough to be rail gunned while animation locked, or I just straight up can't dodge out of it due to swaxe being famously ass at dodging with. For a weapon that now needs better positioning than greatsword, it does infinitely less damage, in fact lance is out doing swaxe... Which is two minutes behind the hunting horn ;-; there are some things that could help the swaxe though. 1. Amped axe state, it'd give the increase for axe damage and add popcorn dopamine (even if the hitstop and screen shake are rise level. (not good)) 2. More sword damage and a counter that isn't keybound to morphing. It's literally the hardest counter in the game to pull off button wise and is the MOST punishing due to it morphing you back and leaving you open if you mess up part of the input. 3. No chip on offset. Maybe a fade slash counter. Monster hunter has shifted greatly into giving access to avoiding damage. We are at the bottom end of the stick. I wouldn't mind not having defence if my damage could be considered even close to a hunting horn. 4. Do surveys. Grand surveys to all the weapon types. Collect data from people alot more experienced than i am to say what needs to be fixed. All in all. I love swaxe dearly. Yet the game right now is very clearly leaning into the most eye catching weapons while trying to ignore others. Swaxe got nice additions but it's left in the dirt compared to how much actually impactful things other weapons obtained. It's a bottom of the barrel weapon with a colossal skill floor and ceiling for medium output at absolute bet with maximum effort and knowledge. I don't want to rely on my friend using a hammer to overcome my weapons shortcomings, only to still gain nothing due to low damage. This hurts more when I never even considered a secondary weapon until I played the beta. The fact I changed my mind on it means my brain feels the swaxe is inadequate. In conclusion, and to sum up the entire list... Make screen shake more... Unga bunga... Hit stop... Popcorn pop pop pop bang!

I'm a charge blade main and I did really love the SAED spam gameplay in world. When I played the beta Charge blade feels so weird and unsatisfying to use. It feels like capcom doesn't know what to do with the weapon. Why is perfect guard different from guard point? Why is there a prerequisite to enter axe mode and then it leaves you vulnerable for a short time? Why is there no option the just get into SAED immediately? at least give us an option. I remember when the first time the charge blade came out and it's all about countering and AED spam. I had more fun using the boom stick than this pizza cutter capcom is shoving up our throat.

Bounce does not need to come back. All they need to do is speed up the weapon and make red extract do what it originally did.

I couldn’t care less about the helicopter lol. They also need to fix mobility issues mid air. Remove charging from the dive. Maybe add one more bounce for repositioning.oh and fix the infinite combo. While they are at it give me back ear plugs for having white + orange extracts. On top of that it should have a perfect dodge mechanic.

This feels like itll be a super fun game to brainlet LS users and everyone else, including long term LS mains will get bored really fast or straight up dislike it. So many weapons are lobotomized, either becoming so easy to play that if you faint on a hunt youd have to be paraplegic and blind or you could be the best user of the weapon and take half a year to kill a monster

Why is it that we talk about weapon balance and frames but not the fact you literally couldn't play with you're friends without getting disconnected from eachother every other fight. Often times me and my friends couldn't stay connected for a single hunt with environment link or party link breaking completely. This is arguably one of the biggest issues the game faces and for some reason there isn't a single big content creator talking about it.

Most likely because that's already a given. It's an early version of the build. The beta was ment to test that feature specifically. Many of us written up our feedback with that in mind. Seeing as how early of a build it was and that the beta was to stress test their servers. Most people figure it's as good as resolved in the final product. So the issue that comes to mind now is with the "longevity" of the game. Weapon Balance, ect ect.

@@muse0583 What I'm saying is. I've already written up feedback on it as a concern. I know friends who has and with capcom going on media saying that they've received them. And with the latest versions we've seen like with the Scarlet Forest previews. We know they've been working on it, and optimizing the game. So most people find themselves concerned with movesets, weapon feel, damage numbers because those are stuff. They know, and feel like they have an easier time getting across as a player of the game.

I just find it unusual that even in the reviews of the beta and what issues it had, none of the big name streamers seemed to mention the glaringly obvious connectivity issues. Meanwhile they all focused on making copium statements about frame gen and hardware requirements and how it's going to get better. I highly doubt they will have the connectivity issues ironed out for release given how bad the state of things were in the beta. And how limited thier time is to fix said issues prior to launch.
