dude arena is getting so much love and im all for it. It's a fun gamemode and I love that you augment your stats as well now as a little bonus so that you can kind of strategize how you want to build or even make a character work with bloated stats.

It seems like you get AUGMENT -> STAT SHARD -> ITEM etc. So pardon me for saying augments - in reality you get a mix of augments, stat shards and items. Really like the item choices you can do - gonna be so fun to play all of it!

@@poil379379 Ye the PVE modes were great too, but in my memory, me and my friends played the Dark Star Thresh gamemode for a few hours every day. I think it only lasted a few days aswell, but idk.

I imagine it would get stale if it were up for too long or people began tryharding and optimizing way too hard.... but every now and then wouldnt be bad definitely was hella fun no matter what your skill level, hopefully lee sin event will be similar I still miss 3v3 regardless of all the leveling bots

The stat buffs from the stat anvil can be seen in the green anvil in the buff/debuff bar above the character and abilities icons. Around 11:45 you hover over it and going frame by frame you can see its: 13.6% movespeed, 32 ap, 200 health and the 5% heal/shield power. Not seeing what it was when it was right there kinda triggered me lol and no one was commenting abt it so i had to go frame by frame for it.

I thought about it since riot released their pakman dev blog and basically told that 1 out of every 15 games have either a bot or a scripter

I think this might be it, the itteration that can become permanent. Adding more teams helps with being able to target a team a bit too hard. Especially for tanks, you'd join a lobby and play as usual, another lobby you join and see 5/6 of your opponents are AD, you build full armor tank and just laugh, you did nothing good, neither did they really do anything wrong, but the game is unfair now. Likewise, there's always one team tryharding a bit too much spamming the most broken comp every game and youre just playing for second place, having more teams counters that. Also more randomization in builds helps against people spamming the same thing over and over; you'll still see them, but a lot of the people spamming the strongest comps usually are really bad players and won't be able to adapt. I'm so hyped!

@@raulbrenes778 i was not here for the pve stuff nor urf(when people tried to have fun) but it feels a lot like the to go game mode where you just hop in have fun and are not punished for picking your fav champ because of counters and even if you dont do good youre there for 15 min max

@@iamapokerface8992 extraction is quite literally the best gamemode. It is arena but pve and more creative( since the augments were handpicked for the champions) After that we get, for me, star guardian game mode. Basically, extraction but without the augments. In the third spot, arena could go here. Here is the thing though. Arena's game could easily go from 3rd best gamemode to a worse spot easily. And it depends on the degenerated spamming trundle or shaco or maokai. But assuming everyone in the lobby is playing for fun, then yeah. Arena is definitely the third best mode.

Finally a riot games gamemode that gets some love, I like that they are reusing existing UI elements (e.g. tft health bars) and stuff instead of re-inventing the wheel. Feels more familiar and easy to understand this way. Though the tab menu looks a bit confusing at first. Hopefully this isnt a buggy spaghetti mess by release

i got an augment that heals you for 200hp every time you use an ability as lee sin, 1.2k hp healthed on top of w heal every 2-3 seconds is so fun

The problem with this mode is that the winner is not the one who plays better and not the one who is smarter and chooses the best synergies, but the one who picks the most op champions and who is lucky with op augmentations. and they didn't change anything with this update. It's still a battle between imba and luck.

I gotta say, as someone still stunted by Nexus Blitz's dirtied history due to Riot, seeing Arena get these sick changes in such a short time gives me a weird mixed feeling Like I'm happy for Arena players, because this looks awesome, but this doesn't change the reason I don't play Arena: its just not the gamemode for players like me so it fully can't correlate to me. Knowing this was seen as "the chosen gamemode" its like...hurray for those who like it but this is yet another map I sadly will never once be playing. I don't play sweat modes and its still just a duo queue battler.

i tried to play today and i just find the game is freezing a lot, if i do something, game froze like 3-4 secs and it get back to normally, and when game unfroze, it show how it is droping fps to 0, even if i want to type something, it keeps frozing, i dont know this is happening because riot forced install vanguard on pbe, ironic because i got a high end pc, with a 28 core intel cpu, 32gigs of ram, and rtx 3060

Honestly I would rather have Summoners Rift but with augments. Let us pick 3 augments to start the game and enjoy SR from there. Arena is fun for a bit but I like the gameplay loop of SR much more. I just want it to be more extreme and augments would provide that. Urf is just SR but faster which gets stale after 10 matches O4A can be fun but I only play 1 champ and hate after 2 matches I'm bored cause no other champ is Illaoi... Augments adds so many new variables that it would feel like a new game.

I legit don't get why Riot Games focuses all their efforts into creating new game modes from the bottom up, like Arena, instead of revamping and fixing the existing game modes; like Dominion, Twisted Treeline, Project, Ascension, Blood Moon, etc. This is why I hate Riot and I will never forgive them for all the champions they deleted from the game and the game modes they stole from us. I refuse to play new game modes until they bring back the OG ones.
