Lovely blue skies and blue lake and wicked winds. Never heard before about a bothy--what a good thing for people!! You got a nice crackling fire going which I hope kept the windchill out. A beautiful place!!

A bit windy!!!! Our tents would have been shredded! Had it not been for that bothy, we'd have relocated to a nearby woods mate :)

Good spot there. I have been inside it before. My recollection was that there wasn’t enough room to lie down but I must be thinking of somewhere else maybe.

Facing the fire place, I used the left hand 'bed' and I'm 6ft. My head just touched the wall and my feet just touched the other wall, so for me it was just right. Had I been 6ft 2ins, it would have been difficult; I hate trying to sleep when not stretched out. Most of the comments on line reference the smallness of the accommodation, but if you are 6ft or less, you can quite comfortably sleep there without being scrunched up. :)
