Ares

Dre and Kev explore issues with violence and how it can effect society and people's mental health. Dre and Kev discuss DSM 5 related disorders associated with psychopathy. Dre and Kev discuss oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, anti social personality disorder and their experiences working with clients who suffer from these disorders. Dante's 7th circle of hell is described in his epic poem "The Inferno." It is the second circle of the violent, where those who have committed violence against themselves (suicides) and against God (blasphemers) are punished. The seventh circle is divided into three rings, each with its own set of punishments.
In the first ring, those who have committed violence against themselves are transformed into trees and bushes, which are then fed upon by harpies.
In the second ring, those who have committed violence against God (blasphemers) and nature are forced to lie in a desert of burning sand, with flakes of fire raining down upon them.
In the third ring, those who have committed violence against God (blasphemers) are submerged in a lake of boiling blood and fire, with centaurs patrolling the perimeter to ensure none of the sinners escape their punishment.
Overall, the seventh circle of hell is a terrifying and gruesome place, where those who have committed heinous acts are punished for eternity. Violence is a mechanism found throughout human history and in the therapist office. Ares is the greek god of war and represents violence in many different ways.
