thats right ,I remember noticed this just a few years back when I saw all game because its one of my all time favs,so great memories.Remember watching this in Greece as a 10yo kid with my brother and our two cousins,the bigger cousin was the only one with Brazil,he was sure as the brazilian squad was better and Argentina not at their best in this tournament (despite reaching the final at the end).He was shocked when cannigia scored and he had hard time watching the rest three of us jumping on the couches and screaming as we didnt expected that as well,Brazil was far superior in that match.The Brazilians also had a plan,I noticed this when i watched the match again.They actually fouled Maradona every time he touched the ball,if this was a 2000s match there would be about 10 yellow cards (and a few reds maybe) for brazil.Its crazy that the only two times they didnt manage to through Diego to the ground he assisted two times Cannigia and he scored twice.O.k , the first one didnt count,but it was a clear goal as you noticed, not offside

Futbolísticamente fue un mundial flojo en general para Argentina y clasificamos por el formato de la época. Se jugaba feo, pero salian las cosas. Contra Italia fue el único partido donde Argentina tuvo buen rendimiento.

Es un mito eso del trofeo, ese trofeo no lo puede ganar nadie en propiedad, Alemania lo gano tres veces (1974, 1990, 2014) y Argentina también (1978, 1986, 2022) y no se lo dieron a ninguna.
