Argentinian President Javier Milei has lowered the country's inflation in February for the second consecutive month.
Milei’s milestone comes as he continues to push austerity and deregulation laws to revive Argentina’s struggling economy.
According to Reuters, President Milei faces an uphill battle to push for austerity as he attempts to tame the world's fastest-rising cost of living.
Argentina’s government statistics agency INDEC released figures on Tuesday detailing the downward trend of the country's inflation crisis.
INDEC revealed monthly inflation dropped to 13.2 per cent in February, down from 20.6 per cent in January and 25.5 per cent in December.
Milei’s office posted to X explaining February’s lower rate came due to “strong fiscal discipline".
