Si bien las japonesas tienen velocidad y mas técnica a la hora de los pases y elaborar jugadas , argentina estuvo mejor a la hora de pelear cuerpo contra cuerpo el balón tan asi que cobraban infraccion ante cualquier contacto.

MONO Japan is one of the top nation of women football whereas Argentina has just started their journey in women football. They have no other choice to hold a power house like Japan. When women football in Argentina will grow; they will play attacking football like their mens team. 0-0 is a massive result for Argentina. She's the best player in the tournament so far. She's the only one who dribbles in traffic. I saw touches of skill from Spain as well. These other teams frankly have no skill. Canada just passes the ball non stop and runs a lot. They rarely touch the ball more than twice. Not even Christine Sinclair is capable of dribbling past a lone defender. Nobody seems capable of shooting from 20 yards out either. If these latin teams start taking it seriously and don't get psyched out they will start exposing these powerhouses.

@@MS-ii1sv Guro Reiten and Caroline Graham Hansen in Norway also did pretty good with their dribbles against Nigeria, I think; France plays great collective football, and tomorrow we will probably see great players like Daniëlle Van de Donk or Lieke Martens in the Netherlands, or Tobin Heath in the USA... but so far at least, I agree with you, Banini has easily been the most skilled player we've seen in the World Cup. Easily. I've seen her play before, but I didn't expect her to do, well, everything she did against such a strong rival as Japan. And to be fair, Christine Sinclair, for all she has done, is 35 years old (turning 36 this Wednesday); we can't reasonably expect her to dribble an entire defence all by herself. I still expected more from Canada.

​@@MS-ii1sv Gotta be honest, I never watched much women's football before last year (essentially because I didn't really know it even was a thing until a few years ago), so I don't really know if Sinclair is all that skilled or "just a goal poacher"; I couldn't possibly tell you. She has scored 181 international goals, which is pretty damn impressive in its own right, but that's all I know about her. Hopefully we'll get to see more from her (and from the rest of Canada) in their next two matches...
