The sports are a very good thing for every country, still is very sad how the argentinean politicians use it to make everybody look in the other way while they were stealing everything else. At this date there are millions of chilean and argentinean citizens who does not realize they were deceived and the football culture is a void space. "Dont you worry about politics. For argentinians, Maradona was a huge figure. Think about how he bring us the World cup against England after losing a war against them. Argentina in that moment was very vulnerable in terms of moral. A military dictatorship some years after (until '83), a hard economic situation and a losing war ( 1982). That win comes from the hand of a worker class guy.
