I find that if I put my Argentium into little depressions on the charcoal block the metal stays put for granulation. Also, with Argentium one doesn't have to heat the entire piece, only the area to be worked.

Hi there, Argentium fuses together without solder but that wouldn’t really work the same with sterling silver as it doesn’t have the same fusing properties as Argentium xx
