Beautiful example of the Argie 15, Fred. Do you ever wish you had a full 105sqft sail rather than 90sqft? Do you prefer the standing vs a balanced design lug? In any case, very nice work. I am building one now. The sail remains my only question.

I feel the sailarea is big enough, it move well in light wind, and I am not a racer :-) I have never tried a balanced lug, so I cant compare. The advantage with the standing lug is that you do not need a boom, and that is a god thing in a small boat. The rig is easy to make yourself, fast to rig. I row under a small bridge before I can raise the mast, but I do it on the water in no time :-)

Skal bygge en Argie 15 til våren. Har kjøpt planer og materialer. Har du noen gode tips til sammen stillingen? Velger å bruke epoxy og

Bruk plastik strips til å sy sammen panelene. Da blir det lettere å slipe jevnt. Når skroget er sydd sammen,,, har du såvidt begynt 😀 Bor su i Norge?
