I'm replaying the game, and you're right about #136. Thanos even refuses to learn his lines, and yells at Xenia when she corrects him about them. I can't see how she has him "wrapped around her finger."

For number 71, there was a memo in one of Melina’s binders that said coins were still in customs, so they had to put out replicas. Some were real, and some were fake. Melina doesn’t tell Nancy which ones. She just tells you not to use a real one. Melina is a jerk!

Being a wardrobe supervisor I can say that I wouldn't have a heart attack but would have to figure out a decent alibi before the director showed up and discovered that the actors had all "mysteriously" vanished. Also, I have another one to add to the list. 152. That isn't how stage lights work nor is it how they are programmed. (I had been annoyed by the lack of actual theatrical techniques from the start but had just gotten done programming a school show for my lighting class when I got to that puzzle and kept shouting at my computer the rest of the game. "You people understand how a fly system works but not a freaking source-4 stage light and switchboard?!")

They don't show Nancy on purpose because "you" are supposed to be Nancy. "You" being the person playing the game. So they don't want to give a face to Nancy so that it is a better experience for the person playing and doesn't take away from that. I'm pretty sure Her did an interview about that some years ago. Although I'd love the see Nancy, I also love the mystery of not seeing her as well!

And they showed Kate Drew and then in Sea of Darkens when they showed Gunnar's daughter Nancy makes a comment about how "she looks just like me" so there has been numerous set ups that make us make assumptions about how she looks. I agree with your comment 100%. But still enjoy the mystery behind it! 😁

I know this is a year old comment and la dee dah, but had to add that I and many ND players are not white. Is the fact that I never see her face somehow supposed to make me forget that? Either all of a character is hidden or none. That's the only way role play illusion works.

Let's be honest as well - IF HI decided to show us Nancy's face...there'd be virtual riots. No matter what she looked like, a small fraction would love it and 90% would hate it because it doesn't match the image they had in their heads. It would end BADLY.

We know the art puzzle and audio files are there for the player in order to obtain a trophy. Okay. Though, it begs the question of WHY those two useless things are warranted a trophy in the first place. The plot could've been more fleshed out had the decisions and near impossible mechanics (the lift system, etc.) within the game not ruined it. I'm probably the only one who thinks Grigor was just a little too eager in getting Nancy to like him, which is a shame 'cause he's cute, lol.

126. I only wonder what they'd have done about Nancy being trapped on the set during Act I. In one of Xenia's notes, she says that after intermission anyone who's down in the sets will stay there because the sets won't be in use. So the set that we walk across onstage? Only one used in Act II. It begs the question: why do they even HAVE the sets if they're not going to use them? Back to the point, since all the puzzles take place during intermission, what happened when the set was used during Act I? Or did they just not use it?

This game was awful. All of the characters in the new games have robotic and disingenuous dialogue with Nancy. Even Nancy's character seems forced. With the exception of ghost of Thornton hall, I couldn't make it through any of the new games because of this.
