They have some good ones. Danae, triumph of bacchus, adonis awakens & the fall of phaeton are the ones I've tried. Triumph & adonis stand out for my nose

What I like about it is it simply different from anything I’ve ever smelled. If you’re not a rose fan then the opening can be very intimidating but the dry down is awesome.

I bought the Adonis awaken and boy I never knew I loved rose that much, It was such a banger 🔥So my package came with Charon’s vail sample and I can tell you its a charmer. From the top note to the dry down is hands down is worth every dollar. I am already looking to get my hands on it.

For me .... Argos is a unique house... interesting, mature, unique...May not spark interest initially but the dry down is or can be a unique complexity in a good way...my fav is Bacio immortale ...an incredible scent that keeps you coming back...initially didn't like it....just keep smelling the sample...then SOLD!!!! This house says money....and mature

Im from the Philippines so even if i bought Charon's Vail as early as can be, it will take me a few weeks or a month to get it. Thank you for the review. Im not a big fan of rose but believed Christian when he said its not the typical Rose scent. I hope so but by your description, its Turkish rose so that right there worries me. I dont like comparing Argos and Zaharoff but i love the Black Rose and was hoping rose in CV would also not be the jammy syrupy cloying rose. Still, the dark notes supporting it should lessen the rose especially since its a top note
