Still such a relevant talk! My question in 2021 is if we used details and summary elements would we get all this for free without the need to use aria at all (in regards to the disclosure component demo). My understanding is yes. Of course this would be consistent with the talk in terms of using the correct elements that already have the correct roles.

20:25 Those words really made my Easter Night! I think that a correct HTML5 Mark Up must be the highest priority. I am trying to find out if always is better a third party screen reader over the one built in the Operating System, like VoiceOver in Mac. Any opinion?

VoiceOver is fine, used reasonably. NVDA is a beloved one on Windows, though there is Narrator built in as well (narrator can be frustrating).
