Yesterday as I was driving to a thrift store I had a very strong notion that I would be finding a reborn and priced cheaply. Then my thoughts were “yeah right, that’s crazy. Stuff like that doesn’t ever happen to or for me EVER”. I knew I was looking for just a cheap doll so I can practice layering air dry paints etc because I’ve never done anything like this before. I also wanted to find some newborn girl outfits to pair with a reborn I bought and getting ready to weight for my granddaughter’s upcoming birthday and give her a big beautiful box opening too. I found the cheap doll to practice on, I found tons of outfits and green tags were 1/2 off so extra bonus. Then I walked through the furniture section and lo and behold!!! Not kidding at all!!! I look at a bookcase and there she laid all alone and crunched up in a corner of one of the bottom shelves. I found a reborn in a cuddle body!!! She’s porcelain head and hands/wrists. She’s also wigged. Overly weighted with glass beads lol. I paid a whole $4.00 for this sweet baby!!! Her head stamp says “Sugar Britches” reproduction of Boots Tyner Design 1986. Then it’s hand engraved with “1987 Merrilee”. I’m hoping I can bring her back to life with some gentle, nurturing TLC❤

I have 3 babies from Billie Kramer and they look exactly like their photos. In fact, they look even better in person. So, I'm not sure what happened, but I do know that Billie is honest and legit. I also know Billie would do her best to make her buyers happy. I hope Aria finds a new family very soon.

Maybe she just had a bad experience with this particular baby. I’m not used to my babies being shiny or very saturated in their creases. She is cute, don’t get me wrong, but I’m just not feeling it. As of this morning, I think she might have a new mommy. I’m so happy about it. I don’t want to cause any friction between me and the artist because I see she has so many beautiful reviews. I’d rather just move on from this and give somebody a really great deal. I rather not let things fester, and I just want to turn it into something positive. I do want to thank you so much for confirming that the artist is actually legit. And I do appreciate that. All of her babies look amazing for their prices. I was just giving her the benefit of the doubt because sometimes people do go through things in life. That I do understand. I’m glad you got pretty babies from her. Thank you so much for your comment, as always it is greatly appreciated. And thank you so much for being a loyal subscriber.

@@ItalianPrimaDonna I absolutely understand where you're coming from. I really do. I wouldn't be afraid to say that most of us have experienced disappointment/dissatisfaction in this hobby. It is unfortunate, but it is a reality. As far as Billie, maybe she's using new painting mediums or a new camera. Either way, the baby was not what you expected and I feel bad because we anticipate their arrival with excitement and curiosity. So, it is really tough when things go south. I can only hope your next little "Bunka" brings you tons of happiness. I love you and your channel. You always make me laugh and smile. Have a blessed weekend.

I feel like that number depends on the person. I also feel like, personally, my number changes. Sometimes I feel like a reasonable number is less than ten. then I find myself having nearly 20 dolls. I go through cycles in the hobby, but I am really trying to be consistent. Hahahaha! Yes! Chicken clucking!!!!! LMAO.
