Aria Vent No-See Niche.
Today I will show you step by step tutorial on how to install this aria vent shower niche. What we like about it is that you can keep the things that you use every single day in your shower, yet still have it looking really nice and clean.
This niche is designed to perfectly fit inside a 12x12 prefab niches such as Schluter Shower System, laticrete Shower System, GURU Shower system.

I’m new to your channel and find it very informative! I have question for you, how do you feel about what is the right way to layout tile….. full pieces of tile to start at the bottom of shower wall and putting the cuts at the top or lay it out where the full tile is at the top and make the cuts at the bottom next to the shower base? Or does it just depend on the job? Anybody feel free to give me your opinion , thanks guys!

Hey Broccoli 😉. Im no Winni but I've got 15 yrs on me. It's difficult to really dive into these questions to the degree I I'd like to in a KZbin chat, do to so many different situations, but here's a few things to consider. I really wouldn't put full tiles at the top unless certain criteria are met. So A lot of shower walls are installed by drywall guys, and they tend to put a lot of drywall mud in the INSIDE corners. So if you put a straight edge from one corner to the other, in the middle of the wall I've seen a 1/4 to 3/8s gap. It'll be an eye sore once grouted. Second the framing could be off as well, causing about the same issue. Unless you built the shower yourself and you made it plum/level, I wouldn't trust other trades. They usually depend on the tile guy to cover up their messes😏. Anywho, You can always find a flat area and dry lay a row of tile and use spacers. Measure the shower height, the measure the tile in the ground to see how big the top cut would be.

Depending on the tile size, you can either do cut piece on top or split the difference between top and bottom.

Just depends on the situation. If it's your own shower etc then do it how you want. Its art! If it's not yours then work together with the person and come up with a plan that works for both of you. If that makes sense.

Hi Winni! Great work! I’m curious if you could demonstrate in-setting the niche under (behind) the tile and that way getting rid of the boarder? Would this lead to leaks behind the tile? Would take the look to the next level though! Thoughts? Assuming you could make the box 1/8 deeper etc etc. Thank you!

Good idea. Not worth anywhere near $500 though. Maybe 200 max. And make it out of plastic. Stainless still rusts.
