Do you not draw your images from scratch? is all of your artwork traced?

Well I usually use references in the traditional way, with the ref off to the side and all. This was just a rare case of me crudely blocking in the silhouette of my reference instead of starting entirely from scratch because I didnt want to take the chance of getting frustrated with the drawing at the sketch phase and giving up. I hadnt drawn anything for almost a year and a half at that point due to art block so I didnt really care about cutting corners if it meant I could get the momentum going on this specific pic. I still didnt end up finishing because I got over ambitious with the background but hey! I finished lineing and coloring the cat at least! Tdlr: No most of my art isnt traced this was a special case.
