It’s really hard to watch her struggle through this interview because of how painfully relatable it is. Even though she should be so happy that she dropped a record breaking album and is the biggest pop star in the world right now, that’s how anxiety is and it hits you the hardest when you should be at your best. You can tell she was nervous and regretted saying certain things and couldn’t stop thinking about it and it just created this snow ball effect of internal chaos. I just hope she knows that so many people love her and that her music has helped millions get through life. She deserves all the happiness in the world✨

HTJ halloween sooooo true!! I have anxiety and people usually just don’t get it or me. But it’s very stressful sometimes! People often say “but it’s nothing wrong happening, why are you like that?” And I’m like “it doesn’t matter if it’s wrong, bad, or the happiest event in my life - it’s still triggering my anxiety like crazy!!!” Anxious people keep to themselves a lot because that’s what makes them feel calm. People should learn about it and try to understand.

I wanna hug her 😢💜 you can just tell how nervous she is, and that she doesn't even see just how deserving she is of the praise and acknowledgement + congratulation for her huge success! It makes me sad that it's soooo visibly apparent that she doesn't think she's worthy and that others will feel the same way, she apologized so many times but the time that really stuck with me was after James had announced her achievements, she apologized, as if to say something along the lines of: "I'm sorry I know I don't deserve it and other artists probably deserve it more than I do please don't be mad at me thank you" ....and it sucks that someone with such AMAZING and wide ranged musical/vocal prowess and skill, plus her huge stage presence and her ability to sing even MORE beautifully during her live performances vs. studio versions of her songs, has literally such low self confidence at this point in her life, and in my opinion her voice and music have just flourished and matured and developed sooooo so we'll, like she is for sure kicking ass more and more with each new song, new album, new live or acoustic type performances....she is steady growing and I am so proud to be a fan of hers all around. If Ari would open her eyes and understand how truly awesome, strong, beautiful, talented °•in multiple ways•°, genuine, real, raw and just all around a freaking SOLID gold human being who truly does have good intentions and will towards other people and beings. Ari is truly a goddess in tune with the universe and I am a forever fan. Always have been since day one and I love watching her evolve!

I was thinking the same thing, I hope she is okay. She has literally been through the ringer. Despite all the hate I'm proud of her for pushing through. She is a good role model to a lot of people. She has proved that we don't have to change our hearts, because of this cold world. No matter what the world throws at us we to NEVER EVER change our heart. That is why the world is taking so long to heal. A lot of people rather run from their issues, and turn cold instead of feeling through the pain, and get back up again. If we run for ever we will never learn, or grow. If we allow ourselves to feel, heal, and get back up. We will transform into who we are truly meant to be. Yes healing is painful, forgiving is hard, but it has it's rewards, and she is living proof. People will judge weather anyone is doing bad, or good. We should always keep our heads up with love in our hearts. Forgive, but don't forget. Learn the lesson. But don't become bitter in the process. It'll make you age quicker. The key to staying young is keeping connected to your inner child. Act professional when need be, be serious when need be, and don't be afraid to be yourself. I have suffered from it as well a long with PTSD from abuse, and I felt her anxiety. I also felt she probably went home and cried. @@motailor3607 there was a terrorist attack at one of her concerts that killed a lot of her fans in 2017 and made her anxiety really bad, then she broke up with her boyfriend of 2 years even though they stilled loved each other. they couldn't stay together because his drug addiction was getting worse and worse and it was breaking both of them. like 2 months after the breakup she got into a relationship with another guy and got engaged soon afterwards (that was all in 2018). then in September her Ex died because of an drug overdose and people blamed her for his death. A month afterwards her engagement was called off.

Rodrigo CP It doesn’t matter how much spotlight and experience and years on their plate that a person can have. Mental illness doesn’t pick favorites and it can strike anyone. Some are better at hiding it than others. There are tons of celebrities that go through it and you would never know. A lot of them took their lives over things like depression, bipolar disorder, and the like. Often times these things are ingrained in people’s brain since it’s kind of a neurological thing. I can tell that it’s not just nerves that she’s experiencing and little anxiety attacks. She’s going through something more and if you follow her life and her music, you can see that. Very disappointed by your response as someone that has dealt with mental illness myself. It’s no joke and it’s not something that you can brush off like dusty and smile like everything is okay. I understand where Ariana is coming from and I respect her even more. Congratulations on being able to hold down a happy and prosperous life full of success and no instances of having negative feelings. You can take your ignorance and negativity elsewhere.

This interview breaks my heart. I watched it when it aired and I was crying for her. You can see that she is tired and stressed. I love that James sat on the couch with her and was holding her hand to make her more comfortable. I’ve loved Ariana since victorious and have continued to love her. She is so strong for what she has gone through and I hope that she continues to believe that. Also even though she was ‘underdressed’, she looked amazing.
