Fr, she’s only sung the song twice, ever, her manager didn’t want to force her to record it but he encouraged her to do it because he said that it’s a strong feeling that she should really share with the world, I’m really glad that Scooter is her manager, he encourages Ari to put her feeling in a song to put out in public but he’s not encouraging her to much that she’ll feel overwhelmed, Ari strong to just write her feelings down, but to share it with the world is just indescribable of how much courage and bravery she has😊I love her so much🖤

I also think it’s about how she should’ve “ghosted” Mac for the sake of her relationship with Pete but couldn’t bring herself to do it. I’m honestly sure they still communicated sometimes. I’m sure she checked on him and vice versa. I do feel bad for Pete. He tried his best to be there for Ari while she was literally crying over another man. I’m glad she can acknowledge that. But I know what it’s like to have someone “visit” you in your dreams. It can break your heart when you wake up from that. I feel for everyone involved. This was a beautiful song that gave everyone a glimpse of the situation from her own words and mind instead of media speculation.

I love Mac so much :( he’s been my favorite artist since I was a preteen. 2009 gives me chills. So to hear ghostin is really serene and bittersweet. Swimming was such a good album and it made me love Mac so much more than I already had. He helped me through a lot of dark times with his music so having him gone is so sad. But I hope his music lives on for years to come.

Beau No worries! But are you asking what I think happened as in like why he passed away? Personally I do believe it was an accidental overdose. There’s a lot of speculating that it was intentional because he had tweeted saying he wanted the end of So it Goes to sound like “ascending to heaven” and coincidentally So it Goes was playing in his very last snap on a record merely hours before he passed away. So some people say it was planned. But personally to me he seemed so happy and so ready for tour and I don’t think he’d do that to himself. I think he partied too hard and accidentally overdosed which is very sad. I feel for Ariana too because it seems she had a hard time with him and his addictions but who knows. I think it hurt him when she moved on but he had said he was happy for her and Pete so I don’t think it was anything related to Ariana. I think he just was stuck in a deep hole as most addicts deal with sadly and he lost his life because of it

One thing that breaks my heart when it comes to this situation is people saying she needs to stop talking about Mac. They have been friends for years before they dated and leaving someone who won't change and is toxic to her as well, how is it fair to have stayed with him? He needed to work on himself and his addiction and sadly it overtook him. Celebrities do things that don't make sense as every other human does. I feel that Pete she had in order to help heal from the pain she had with Mac and after he died, she knew that wasn't the way to mend the pain she had. Which is why she and Pete broke things off because she realized how hurt she was from everything. She's allowed to mourn, she's allowed to honor him, and she's allowed to still love him. Fuck the trolls, fuck the haters, let this girl mourn and remember him.
