As she sees her fiancee, *no, her ex-fiancee's* hero emblem shine through the night sky from atop their house ("motherfucker didn't even take his stupid hero light shit with him", she thinks as she swipes at the tears escaping her eyes), she knows what she must do. And that is our villain's backstory! ^3^
