YES THANK YOU I couldn't figure out why she didn't sound the same and then I realized she wasn't doing the fake sweet cutie voice that she's been doing for years and I was shook! Her voice is noticeably deeper (than that voice she put on, not that it's deep per se) now, and she sounds a lot more authentic. Obviously that voice is iconic. But I always felt like it was part of a character she was playing if that makes sense

@@punxie89 that voice you're referring to is what she does when she's speaking in a lot of interviews and she needs to be conscious of how much she's talking in order to not lose her voice or damage it. she's spoken on it many times. as a vocalist, speaking higher and lighter in your register is a LOT less damaging for your voice. she's talking to her friend here so it naturally drops but you can still tell she switches when she remembers.

Don't get it wrong, it's only this way because in other Interviews they have a Time Limit & she knows it, because those are on TV's shows. She's wasn't "uncomfortable", just like every celeb she saves time for the screen time. Zach isnt a show, they can talk as much as they want without that pressure nor an audience.

I just wanna talk about Zach Sang for a minute. I had no clue he was so young, he is so well spoken and mature. The way he analyzes the lyrics and really talks in depth with her. He's one of the most respectful interviewers. He doesn't dig too deep into their personal lives or make them uncomfortable. He has things to talk about and sticks to it. And he seems to make them feel really relaxed, I think Ariana really likes his interviews too. All in all hats off to him for being so young and very well spoken, respectful, and all around very good at his job.

Ari is not only completely in her own skin, but she is showing complete confidence, positivity, high and exciting energy that we have NEVER seen.
